I just finished this baby set for my best friend's soon-to-be-born baby girl.  I followed the Mary Jane booties pattern here

The yarn is Red Heart baby teri (feels like tericloth).  They were speedy and fun to make, and I am very pleased with how they came out.  Now I can't wait to see them on the baby!

Thanks for taking a look.

So cute!  Is the flower knitted in?  Duplicate stitched?  or embroidered?

The flower is knitted separately and then sewn on.  It was inspired by the flower on this purse.  I have made a version of this hat for myself with little crystals in the middle of the flower, as well.

It is a very cute baby set - especially the booties. Do you have pictures of the "big kid" hat version that you made for yourself?

Oh you must post pictures when baby arrives!  This hat and booties are darling, but knit FOs always look PERFECT when they're actually on someone.  Especially squirmy little babies!  Can't wait!
