I just finished this bag, and the instructions were VERY confusing. The bag was smaller than I thought, but I love it dearly because it's my very own. I would reccomend getting about 0.75 yards for each the lining and the outer.

the approximate finished size is:
24 cm width, 19 cm height, 6 cm depth stripes: 59 cm
*9.4 (w) x 7.5 (h) x 2.3 (d) inches - stripes: 23.2 inches*
Its not a big bag, but it fits well my everyday stuff (wallet, make up, small diary, mobile phone, keys, etc) and avoid me for carring all my crap around the town  Wink
