These shoes were cute to begin with

But I couldn't help but see the potential for something cuter, something more glittery, some hearts and some fire....

So a few layers of paint later, this is what I ended up with:

Close up of toes:

Close up of heel:

All they need now is a coat of sealer so I can wear them outside!

Those are cute!  Did you paint on the heart and flame, or is it some sort of applique?  Also...it looks like the sort of texture spray paint that I once used to paint a chair (bad idea, by the way).  Nice job!

It's part stenciled, part free-hand.  The textured look is a combination of the glitter and using a spouncer.

It's cute, but I think I like them better before (please don't take offense to that!) I think you should had more glitx and glam!! It looks like glitter nail polish all over your shoes. But I think they are still cute! Wink

i bet they look way better in real life, since glittery stuff tends to look pretty flat in pictures, because the point of glitter is that it sparkles, and that is a motion.

i like 'em, good job!

Happiness can be found in the darkest of times...if one only remembers to turn on the lights.

You can lead a heart to love, but you can't make it fall.
