Yey, 1st craft challenge Grin

I did this collage of some of my favourite Nikes.
It is life-size and has been entirely cut to scale from it's original. I used four different types of paper in varying colours and pierced the pieces with a pin to create the stitching before sticking it all together.

I hope you like!!

I am amazed at how realistic that looks, especially compared to the shoe.  Wow!

Wow! When I saw the real shoe, I thought you had made the paper one 3-D. It looked sturdy enough to wear!

thanks for all your comments guys  Grin

meowari - the papers i used are mainly canson papers - they are my favourite to work with as they are a good weight, good colours and they are really easy to use. don't know what the shiny brown paper is called - annoying because i want some more of it and can't find any anywhere (anyone?) - and the textured paper is a pattern that i drew on the computer and printed out onto regular good quality printer paper.
- sorry if that was a more geeky answer than you wanted!

sweets4ever - not entirely sure how long it took as i entered into a crafting time tunnel.
once i'd done my initial drawings and found all the right papers, i did the whole thing in one sitting - it took a few hours - but i really enjoyed doing it.

-hurrah!!
