Lately I have been really obsessed with polymer clays making earrings and other little trinkets.

So I was playing katamari and it finally clicked, duh, I should make earrings!

And thusly these were born:

Sorry if the pictures come out really large, I have yet to master the art of resizing pictures for viewing.

I hope you like them, thanks for looking!   Grin

The size of the pictures is perfect, and your earrings are neat! Only... I don't know what katamari is  Undecided

There is a video game called Katamari Damacy.  Its about this little green guy, the "Prince", and basically you have this ball, the "katamari", and you roll it around these little worlds and it pick things up, which I know doesnt make sense but it is wicked fun.  Grin

Also,  http://craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=70397.0 is a better representation of a Katamari.  My earrings are not magnetic not do they pick up things.

I wish they were though, though I suppose that would get weighty after a while...

Thanks for the good feedback.  I cannot wait to bake them and expose them to the public!

I was in class all day waiting to go home to make these:

A bit more colorful and more layers on the nubby things.  I think they look more like a katamari than the first pair though the first pair is a bit more feminine me thinks.  I guess the katamari earrings I wear will reflect my mood for the day!   Grin

I think my next endeavor will be making the prince so I can have a katamari in one ear and a prince or a cousin in the other.  what do you think?  that might be a bit too extreme...
