I show my horse and have many ribbons I've won through the years. I would like to create one of the beautiful quilts I've heard about that are made entirely from these various ribbons. Could anyone direct me on how this is done?

They look like the ribbons are sewn together like patches of material. They probably use the smallest seam allowance though.
