I made these little dinosaurs for my brothers birthday tomorrow! (He'll be 5) I don't have picture so I will post the link to the topic;

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35120.0

These took so little yarn. I used less than a ball each. I ussed like a baby weight acrylic yarn I had in my stash, and it seemed the perfect guage for the size 6 needles the pattern calls for.

Like I said, these are great for stash busting, I think I am going to make some more for other people!

Yeah, I should probably join this one, but I don't have enough yarn for anything. Sad My mom is making me buy my own now. Angry

Hi y'all, I celebrated the end of my UWYH month by buying some real kick ass yarn at my LYS to make the Isabeau Tote. All month I had been thinking about this darn tote, but I didn't have any yarn that was a good sub in my stash. So I am happily, out of this.

But I will definitely do it again, it was a good learning experience!

How's everyone doing?? I so far am doing really really well. However my husband (who is supposed to be supporting me) is taking me to a yarn shop next weekend. I am justifying it as spoiling myself because I've never used good yarn before.

Here are my stashbusting projects...

The black is Clapotis, the turquoise is the Elizabethtown hat, the green is #1 of my pocketbook slippers, and the multi-colored is a panta.

stashbusting.

I'm not working...so I have to work with what I have.

I'm started a Rowan capelet - "Lissa" that I'm using some bulky wool for. Good for the beach I figure.

Started a Bunny with some fuzzy stuffs I found when unpacking....moving really made me figure out what I had available!

Pictures....later! Smiley

No, I was merely reading the Muggle magazines. I do love knitting patterns.

This guy was for a swap (and has been posted to another thread already), but he was also a big stashbuster.  Pattern from The World of Knitted Toys.

ohmystars -- That sweater is amazing!  I love the fairisle hearts!  can't wait to see the finished product.
