Swap name: Aussie/ NZ Send Us Yer Bits! Swap
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: jane feebles
Sign-up date range: 3 April 2006 - 26 April 2006
Date to send item by: packs sent by 5 May 2006, finished presents sent back by 5 June 2006

Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): Let's have lots of people!

Non-U.S. participants allowed? THIS SWAP IS ONLY FOR AUSSIES AND NZerS. SORRY

All ages allowed? Or 18+?Any age

Organizer is aware of current list of "suspended traders"
list and will not allow those members to participate: YES

Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that every participant meets these conditions: YES

Details of swap:
This swap is a way to use up all those bits of fabric, yarn, beads, paper or whatever floats your boat, but you've never got around to using.
Put together a pack of crafty items, send it out and your partner will make you something from the contents of the pack and send it back.
This way you get something
a) you know you'll like, cos you picked the colours and materials
b) you never would have made yourself

This swap is open to all kinds of crafting materials, as long as we can find someone willing to use your bits.  They may use them in a totally different way to you, but that's what makes it fun! eg. Jewellry makers make fabric beads and 'soft' jewellry out of buttons; Sewers stitch and create out of paper; knitters make textiles from wire

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap
Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside of your country?
What can you do or be willing to try (don't be shy)?
What kinds of bits will be in your pack?
Are you a smoker?
Is there anything you particularly DON'T want your bits made into?
Anything else to add?

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

Hmm, I'll have to have a think as to what bits to put in my pack.

I hope there's a heap of people who sign up for this - it sounds great!

I've just signed up. I've got an easy project for someone...... a set of coasters to decorate. I just can't seem to get inspired to do it :-)

Is there anybody put there?

Signups have been pretty slow on this one guys, do you want to put it on hold, or extend the sign-up date, or go ahead with 4 people?

Feeback please!

I've been finding HEAPS of stuff I could send off for this thing, like a cool green yellow and white trim I've been harbouring for years, and 1 metre of beautiful thicksilver fabric, and an organza black floral caftan that could become anything, and a big roll of the white stretchy mesh they put over sausages in the deli, it's really wide, it fits over my arm easily
