Details of swap:
This swap is a way to use up all those bits of fabric, yarn, beads, paper or whatever floats your boat, but you've never got around to using.
Put together a pack of crafty items, send it out and your partner will make you something from the contents of the pack and send it back.
This way you get something
a) you know you'll like, cos you picked the colours and materials
b) you never would have made yourself

This swap is open to all kinds of crafting materials, as long as we can find someone willing to use your bits.  They may use them in a totally different way to you, but that's what makes it fun! eg. Jewellry makers make fabric beads and 'soft' jewellry out of buttons; Sewers stitch and create out of paper; knitters make textiles from wire

I've just signed up. I've got an easy project for someone...... a set of coasters to decorate. I just can't seem to get inspired to do it :-)

I've been finding HEAPS of stuff I could send off for this thing, like a cool green yellow and white trim I've been harbouring for years, and 1 metre of beautiful thicksilver fabric, and an organza black floral caftan that could become anything, and a big roll of the white stretchy mesh they put over sausages in the deli, it's really wide, it fits over my arm easily
