It looks really good! I agree with organza, umm maybe a purple,(read not too frilly), flower pattern? I ask thee for a tute.Shocked Also, for the back did you just have one piece? Do you think that would look weird in the back if you darted?

Hi thanks - really appreciate all your comments and the suggestions for fabric.  I'll definitely keep those in mind when making the actual!
The back is one piece, but no darts because I transferred the darts to create gathers along the waistline.
And I'm sorry, but I can't accede to the request for a tutorial as these are designs that i actually plan to use for my store, hope that you understand.

lke it a whole hell of a lot. can't wait to see the finished product.
as for fabrics, i am super into vintage or vintage-inspired cotton prints at the moment. i think maybe a tiny floral calico with solid color yoke and accents might be cute. ?
