I received a package in the middle of the week. I thought it was from modestmaya, she had written earlier that she mailed her package. So, I blithely opened it without checking who it was from. It turned out it was from CosmicCranberry. There's a little mixed up for I'm actually not her partner, but she told me to keep it. Thank you so much for everything, Meg! I feel bad that you have to craft again for your "true partner". I'll put more stuffs in my package for you as if you have two partners, okay? Smiley

She made this beautiful glass pebble mosaic cross.

Here are the jewelries. A hemp bracelet she made with adorable wire angels, cross necklace (my very first!) that I wore to work last night, and an I <3 you pin.

Books to enrich my spiritual life. I have two younger sisters who are single, I will share with them the Passion & Purity book.

A Jesus clock.

The one on the left said, "Please help me not to be so busy making a living I forget to make a life. Amen"
While on the right said, "Lord, make my words as sweet as honey - for tomorrow I may have to eat them."

Stickers, notepad, and a vegetale cd.

You packed a plethora of goodies. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Oh, I must include this very happy boy's picture. Christer just started watching Vege tales as Sabbath afternoon activity, yes, he's rather late into that (we don't do much movies in the past).

Yesterday modestmaya's package arrived. I didn't even know about it until minutes before I was going to work! Thank you so much for everything, Maya. You crafted such lovely items and I am blessed to receive them.

A Jesus bookmark (and it is sturdy! My bookmarks tended to get bent here and there, this one will not  Smiley)
The other one is a bottle cap Jesus pin. It has the same Jesus picture as the bookmark.

A miniature wall hanging with Michelangelo's painting of God holding the suffering Jesus.

I like this decoupaged box ... for some reason it reminds me of Reese's peanut butter cup, yum!

A dashboard Jesus! Hehehehe.

Thank you once again, Maya!

Hi Maya,

I just replied your P.M. note, not realizing that you had already find the gallery. I'm always a day late and a dollar short!  Grin Yes, I think that box is wonderful. I'm in the process of changing my eating style right now ... I'm going to fill that box with inspiring bible verse/quotations. So, whenever the urge to munch on something "junkish" attack me, I'll just reach in to my Jesus box and get a "candy" verse instead.  Cheesy

Ok, here's my stuff from FreeGranny!!!

First my favorite.. I don't think she knew she was feeding into my sweater addiction.. and look.. I have the perfect tank to wear under it!!

Pocket Detail: the pin says Jesus Saves

The pocket she added on the sweater matched the bag: and do you see those pockets? 2 on each side, and 1 on the inside

Inside

And what I found in the bag: two posters, one with Jeremiah 29:11, and one with "I will not fear tomorrow, because God is already there", a mouse pad, and the stamps and ink she used for the mousepad

Thanks so much!!!  I put the sweater on right when I got it yesterday, and my husband comes home and says "I haven't seen that one before" and I said "no! It came with my swap package!!"  he rolled his eyes a little before checking out what I got... I think he's jealous.. in fact, he's trying to convince me to organize a 3rd round of that SO swap so that he can get something.    *edit* I just found out someone started a 3rd round already!  no need for me to organize.. how ironic eh?*

Mommabear: Yes, I have another partner. She sent her package already, so I should be receiving it anytime soon. The DC track showed that she had received the stuff I sent. I'm quite nervous to hear from her, I hope she likes her package. (B. fanning herself to calm herself from swap anxiety)

Now that I've seen it, I think it is an excellent gift idea! Smiley I'm also hoping that crafty+sassy will post an action shot of the hat! It looks so cute in soft yellow.

Yesterday I received a package from cortag04. She sent me lovely & thoughtful gifts.

The color of the clock is refreshing lime green. It has hand drawn stars all over and a quotation from Ps. 3:5 around it "I lie down & sleep; I wake again. The Lord sustains me."

A beautified hand towel. Check out the embellishments! The picture doesn't really show, but the middle grommit (?) has a yellow jewel in it.

A CD compilation of contemporary Christian artists. This is a very thoughtful gift. I'd written in the questionairre that I did not know much about contemporary Christian music, she has increased my music library!

Thank you very much, Cortag04!

CosmicC, no, I didn't forget you at all!  Poor girl, you have to wait for so long.  Sad I PMed you on Monday regarding the DC# (0305 2710 0001 7693 2682).  I just checked it on the USPS website, and it said it just left Bell,CA on the 4/18.  The person at the post office assured me that with the mail type I chose it would only take between 2 to 3 days. I was hoping that you would receive your package the latest today.  Let's hope that you'll receive it this weekend.  I'm also anxious for you to see the stuffs made especially for you ... hoping that I hit the target right.

Ok, I received today, and I am charging the camera battery as we speak! I received a box full of goodies from our wonderful organizer cosmicCranberry!!!
There was a bible tote in a great vintage style fabric, a Jesus candle (that melted a little,  Sad and the PO opened the box to check it out...) two angel lapel pins in two angel decoupaged boxes, a daily devotional card stand, two hand made soaps, a cross pendant on a pearl strand necklace, and I know I am fogetting something... I will post pics of all my crafty goodies tonight (or tomorrow... I'm kinda tired!) we'll see if the camera gets charged soon!!! YAY!

Thanks CosmicCranberry! God bless you!
Ok here you go...

Hey there, like my candle, if you included something that might melt or break or otherwise create a curious problem for the post office, they may open the the package, and that might be stopping it up somewhere...  Mine had a sticker on it that said; re-sealed at Seattle central processing something or other, and a hand written spot where someone wrote in 'candle melted'. just a thought!!

Freegranny, you are just too cute! Just a thought ... perhaps the diet is needed because all your words are so sweet  Wink

Thank you, Javastain, for the comforting thought. I appreciate it.

Cortag04 received her package more than a week ago, she's probably busy, so I'll post the pictures for her.
She said she loves bags. Here is a mini backpack, the theme is He Loves me. It came with a picture note of a girl counting flower petals, muttering away, "He loves me ... He loves me not ... He loves me .. etc." The message is count no more petals, He loves you!

I told Cortag that this clutch purse is a combination of us, her love of bag & favorite bible verse, and my favorite colors & little character. The fabric is from a variety of scraps pieced together (Is this called a patchwork?)

I assume she has a dog because of her avatar. It's a bowl mat for her pet.

This scarf symbolizes that Jesus loves us, died for us (the cross), wants to be in our life & hearts(the white is Him, the black is us).

When I was at the bead store I saw the green cross. I thought it was pretty and soothing color ... just like Jesus, He's lovely and peaceful. Here is the crocheted choker built around the cross.

I used to teach, so I go a bit nutty over theme some times. I hope I don't come across like a scarry fanatic. Embarrassed

I'm sorry that most of the glasses did not make it, I showed the package before sealing it and was told that they would be okay since everything was packed tightly. But, I'm glad that you like everything else. I hope I didn't over do it with your favorite color ... my son took a look at the package and commented, "There are lots of purple in there. I have received my package from JavaStain. She made me a lovely crochet picture that says Jesus. She has it on a great silver and gold paper and in a just right silver frame. I have the perfect place to hang it in my dining room. Unfortunately, tha glass was broken in transit so I will need to reframe it - no problem. I am hoping she has a picture she can post right away. She also sent me a wonderful note of encouragement in the ministry that came at just the right time. Thank you so much. Freegranny

Hey all here's what I crafted up for freegranny... filet crochet 'Jesus' wall hanging with frame (that broke Sad during shipping)... framed in a silver frame with a silver and gold background and Gal 6:9 'and let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.' !

Of course I fretted and fretted over the frame with the glass, and of course it broke so I hope that freegranny can get it re-framed and that it won't cost too much! I almost ordered a frame on line and had it shipped to her place, but I really liked this frame and I didn't want her to have to put together her own swap package!!! Well I learned a lot with this swap! I'll have to find a better way to ship glass!!!

That wallhanging is so pretty and the message was so appropriate for my mom.  The stitches are so tiny it must have taken some time to do.  Don't worry about the frame, we will eventually get a new frame or new glass.

Thanks mommabear! That kind of crochet is called filet work, and it is done with such a small 'yarn' they call it THREAD! hahahah! And you should see the hook that is used! So tiny, it's cute! Anyway, I loved working on it, crocheting is so soothing to me, so the time spent on it was well worth it for me and I am happy that it will be appreciated! By the way, I desigend the whole thing myself, border and all! That was fun too.. I LOVE to figure things out, create and design...
