I know the idea has been done, but I'm just so in love with this painting. So, I had some $5 shoes lying around and some paint...

TA DA!



Up close:



I've worn them so the paint is coming up a bit in the picture...but I've done touch-ups since I took the picture. But I love wearing them. I get compliments whenever I wear them out.

OMG!!!! you have inspired me. I love van gogh so very much. although I dont know if I could paint starry night I would love to give it a go. thank you for this inspiration.

every time someone does this, i look to my left and compare the two. unfair, i know, but you have done an amazing job, especially with the attention to the type of brushstrokes!i think that your shoes are GOGHGeous! hahaha.
