so i wanted a polka dot dress and i set out to make one.
i bought myself a pattern, and it turns out that i hate patterns.
so instead of following the pattern, i just cut the pieces out and sewed them how i want.
much faster than following directions!!!!

i was pretty pumped about this one.........

it was my first time sewing with fabric that isnt stretchy, so therefore it was my first time sewing a zipper on a piece of clothing, which im sure would be a funny thing to watch me do.

sorry the pic is so dark and funny looking.

I really like this.  The style is flattering.  Black & white is so classic and the polka dot fabric was a good pick Smiley!  You are so brave to do your own thing and not follow the directions.

what a cute dress!  I lightened it up a little for you, so that people could see it better.  I hope you don't mind!

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

Wow.  You did such an awesome job on that.  I'm impressed!  I love that dress style.  I just think it is so flattering on pretty much anyone.
