THIS IS THE 2006 WISHLIST APRIL SWAP, YOU
MUST PICK SOMEONE AND PM ME TO JOIN

Swap name: The 2006 Wishlist April Swap
Craftster member who is organizing this swap:  irid3sc3nt
Sign-up date range: The end of April!  04/30/06
Date to send item by: Must send out item within 2 weeks of picking a partner
Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): No WAY!!
Non-U.S. participants allowed? Of course!
All ages allowed? Or 18+?  Yes, just make sure its ok with the parental
units!
Organizer is aware of current list of "suspended traders" list and
will not allow those members to participate:
YES

DETAILS:
This is a wishlist swap;  post a list and you may receive it! Smiley  Your list will need to consist of where you are from (it's okay to just put your state and/or country), crafted items that you would like (it helps greatly to include links to photographs, tutorials, etc.) and/or crafting supplies.

FIRST: You will look through the lists of the people
who have already posted.  You will THEN pick someone from
there to craft for.

SECOND: As soon as you have messaged me, the organizer,
telling me who you would like to craft for and your answers to the
questionnaire,
I will tell you that you can post a list.

Basics:
- to be able to post a list you have to craft for at least
  ONE person
- there must be AT LEAST 5 items on your list
- you can be picked as many times as you have items on
  your list
- if you have been picked 3 times, you have to pick one
other person to craft for, then you can picked more..

Example:
Person B wants to have their list posted so they PM the organizer with their questionnaire answers, and what they want to craft from Person As list.  The organizer will then PM person B, give them person As address, then they can then post their list.
Person C wants to have a list up, so they choose from A OR B, PM the organizer their answers, the name of the person they want to craft for, and what theyre going to craft.   Then they wait until the organizer sends them the address of whom they have picked.  Then they can post their list.
Say person A has been chosen 3 times. For them to be picked more, they have to pick one more person to craft for.  The organizer (me) will let you know when you need to pick someone else if you want to receive more items.

THE CATCH:
This is different than the unconditional swap!!!
The unconditional swap is not expecting anything in return for what you have made. A lot of people post their lists without even making anything for someone, so to be able to post your list (and receive) you must craft for at least ONE person!

Shocked  Shocked PLEASE PM THE ORGANIZER WITH THE FOLLOWING

Hi!  I'm from Iowa, USA.  I'm 22 (23 on April 30th), I graduated last May from the University of Iowa with a doublemajor in English and Art and a minor in Art History.  I live here with my boyfriend of seven years and my kitty, Caliope.  In July, we're moving to Denver! I love to craft since I don't have enough room in the apartment to make art!
Oh, and I totally dig thrift items or stuff you just happen to have in your home.  I buy most of my stuff from thrift/consignment stores anyway.
Thank you in advance to whomever chooses from my list!

SUPPLIES

how-to needlefelt kit

Sakura gelly roll medium dark metallic pen--1 of each color: Black, Burgundy, Hunter Green, Sepia
http://www.gellyroll.com/products/pens/colorchart2.html

any of the Sakura gelly roll pen soufle collection: http://www.gellyroll.com/products/pens/souffle/souffle.html

scissors that cut shapes like wavy lines, etc.  usually found in scrapbooking stores (i already own pinking shears)

any backissues of Real Simple magazine

print-friendly fabric (I guess you can get it at JoAnne's and it works like iron-on, only you're printing directly onto fabric!)

stamping ink-- i have black and the Tropical Color Box stamp pad
Thanks, rainbow_art!

magnetic sheetsthe thickness should be .30 inches thick or more, but still flexible enough to be cut.  I need them to be fairly strong because the last pack of generic mega-craftstore sheets I bought would not hold anything on the fridge and fell off all the time.

iron-on transfer paper

essential oils- no fragrances or parfum/perfume (I already have lavender, citronella, peppermint, tea tree, geranium, and neroli)

bunch o grapevine---  I have a sweet tutorial for making a mourning dove bird nest and a skep  (a beehive), but I don't have any grapevine and I'm not sure where to get it.

straight knitting needles (metal)--- Here's the sizes I need, but don't feel you have to get more than one pair:  US  7, 9, 12

regular ol threadlemon yellow, purple, and I can always use white.  I have bright orange, aqua, navy blue, lime green, and pink.  I prefer bright colors, but you never know when you may need a color!

CRAFTS most of these are on my wists list-- check there for links

A Boo hat!!!
citrus hot pads
Ice Cream Stationary
Egg in a Skillet Earrings
butterfly clips
kitten n yarn stenciled tank top
catnip catjar
Alice in Wonderland stamps
Ponytail ties
crocheted kiwi bird
slouchy hobo bag
kitty crinkle bag ---My kitty would luuuuv you!
Cat Sofa
crocheted flower barrettes
Hand-spinning kit
fun belt
Animal Crossing painted box
Naughty Toy Box

Felt kitty toys---I like the food theme such as this one
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=36043.0

Mini Duffle Bag http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=7290.msg57201#msg57201

Knitted Hot Tamale Skirt--I would like it plain, no flames, and not black.
http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATThottamale.html

So-Fresh Carpet Cleaner---  This recipe is on page 55 of Jean Railla's book, "Get Crafty: Hip Home Ec"  I checked my copy out from the public library.

Small Trellis for Indoor Ivy---  It just needs something wavy/zigzag/etc. to climb up.

Knitted Cleaves---  I would love, love, love one of these!  A chocolate brown or Cascade 220 brown tweed #633.
http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATTcleaves.html>

Knitted Pumpkins
http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall05/PATTpumpkins.html

Mushroom Magnets--- How cute are these?! Your own interpretation would be cool.
http://www.fuzzytown.com/catalog-nature.htm

stuffy-toaster with toast--- Something similar to this cute lil item.  If it could fit in the palm of my hand/your hand, that would be even cuter.
http://www.spiralandcircle.com/wanroom%20magnet.jpg
or better yet, you could crochet me a toast w/butter and make it into a magnet (on my wist list)

tiny ink stamps---  One inch or smaller.  I have a flamingo that I adore

a necklace made out of those neat needle-felted balls in aqua and bright orange-- give me some balls to hang on my neck!  hahahahaha

Felted Marsupial Tote--- from Stitch n Bitch Handbook in aqua and orange

Stencilson tee-shirts size M-L (no white or black or red)--from the Jan 27th entry of: http://www.livejournal.com/users/irid3sc3nt

Racing Girl--portrait print, 6 inches tall
Preying Mantis--landscape print, 6 inches long
Catgirl--portrait print, 5 inches tall (along with) scientific cat scratch--landscape print, 3 inches long

Send me a surprise! Thanks, urvi!

Hello hello! Here goes!

Supplies:
- Fabric  in the style of Amy Butler/Alexander Henry, or something that you see in Reprodepot fabrics

- Sublime stitching patterns.

- craft zines, or a zine that you made!

- sewing notions, like lace, rickrack etc..

- japanese sewing/craft books

- bag handles.

- a DIY crochet kit

Crafted items:

- A panta.  However, as I live in a tropical climate (it's hot in here!), I would prefer if you made it out of lightweight yarn or something that isn't so warm. Is that even possible?   Roll Eyes

- A big bag to cart my things around, which is a lot.
I love:
http://www.cutxpaste.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2&products_id=2396
http://www.goodmorning-morning.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_11

- Or a bag that's knitted/crocheted - since I can do neither. The fat-bottom bag from the Happy Hooker is LOVELY.

- or just any kind of bag that you make best.
THANK YOU !!!!!!

- A stencilled shirt, like :
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=75911.80

- or a shirt with a stencil of any cute animal.

- Anything with a sewing machine theme

 - anything with a sushi theme.

- Buttons like these  - http://whammyindustries.com/ with slogans about sewing / crafting / baking / zine-making / anything feminist / anything political

- A crocheted Frou Frou / Unseamly Sweater / Blissful from the Happy Hooker?   (I'm small, if it helps. And I'll give a lot of Internet love back, plus more.)

- a necklace made from felted beads, or your felted beads.

- hair accessories, like the japanese flowers.

About me :

I'm from Singapore! I sew, decoupage badly, read a lot of magazines and spend way too much time on craftster & the computer. I like pink, white/black, some shades of purple and green. I also like owls, bunnies, and squirrels. I live for junk food like Pocky biscuits and Hello Panda in strawberry flavours. I'm slightly obsessive-compulsive, and can watch TV shows like Sex and the City/Gilmore Girls without ever feeling bored. I craft in front of the tv, sing loudly while I drive and use the steering wheel as a percussion instrument. I'm a feminist, and a road hazard.

Thanks for picking me!! YAY!

Here's the list!

Supplies

1. yarn - any kind really I'm almost out!! (at least enough to make a scarf) Yeah! Thank you!
2. fabrics of any sort see below for colors, for patterns I like floral, asian and geometric Yeah! Thank You!!
3. zippers and your own instructions for best way to use them
4. Shrinky Dink Paper! Can't find it here and can't find a place online to order that takes paypal.
5. knitting needlesI have size 10 now, but I want to branch out

Crafted stuff

1. A bag like this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51662.0 in blue or pink, doesn't need to be vinyl as long as it's cute. I need it sorta big too (my sewing skillz are not good enough for this)
2. HAIR STUFF - A set of hair sticks I have long hair but these need to be short-ish not full chopstick length - about the length of a bick pen without the cap on.
Headband and/or scarf in a fabric from list of favorite types.
2a A PANTA! Black please
3. These earrings: http://www.etsy.com/view_item_sold_anon.php?listing_id=115361&transaction_id=30358
4. Stenciled shirt with a gun (walther ppk-original james bond gun) and flowers (the S.O. knows how to stencil but damn if it's a little too much to get my head around) Women's Medium Please - but must be stretchy as I'm kinda curvy
4a. You would be my best-est friend in the whole world if you made me this dress: http://www.elsewares.com/commerce/Russian-Owl-Dress_MPD302.html but instead of an owl, I want a Walther PPK!
5. Cast resin bracelet or necklace with a georgia o'keefe image (flowers not bones) I don't have space/ventilation to cast resin.
5a. A microscope slide necklace with same art - I lost all my soldering stuff when I moved to LA
6. Any jewelry I'm bored with what I have and the stuff I can make - well bored with that too  Tongue
7. I want a crafty pirate (the one with scissors)! either a pin/button or a charm for my purse.  Darn cafepress for not taking paypal! taking batgirl's lead - I'll donate $$ to craftster if I get this.
8. a totoro hat!! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72078.0
9. a paper journal to carry in my purse, no bigger than 4x5. I've PM'd the wrong organizer 3 times in swaps now, so I need something to track them better.
10 Katamari Ball - pin cushion or crocheted magnetic thing. Naaaah na na na na na Kata Mari DAHH MACCYY

Other non crafty stuff

1. A learn to knit book or how to's for knitting ( I know how to make a scarf but I've never followed any patterns)
2. A mix CD of electronica/techno/dance/dub/house stuff
3. A surprise see below for what I like. Yeah!! Thank you!!
4. Hello kitty anything

About me almost 33 y.o. living in Hollywood. I love dogs, anything ultramarine blue or cobalt, computers, technology, the internet, sci-fi, anime, anything Japanese especially hello kitty and san-x. I don't drive, but I take the train to work subways ROCK! I'm pretty girly, but not lacey and froofy, think candy and pink. I love pink too. However, as an aged ex-goth/new wave chic, I'm still addicted to black and all my techno style jewelry (think computer bits and lots of shiny stuff etc). My favorite designer style is Oakley, as in the sunglasses. Dragonflies are my favorite bug, but I'm not a nature girl I love the city pictures of tiny cute animals (like meomi.com) are awesome.  Dress wise, I do conservative but hip for work (I work at an internet company so I can't dress too stuffy) with mostly black, some grey, green, blue, orange, and pink. I'm a t-shirt and jeans girl at home. I hate aquamarine and turquoise.
Wow that's long.

Oh and NO Disney related stuff!
Thanks ahead of time for being my Tinkerbell - and granting my wish!

I really appreciate you choosing me for this! I am going to leave this on my list - you have no idea how many plastic baggies one can fit into a diaper bag

*a takeout menu binder

*a fun apron (with the full bib)

*something like this necklace www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35012.0
with origami paper or cherry blossom print

*a big knitting bag of some sort to hold my current project would be great too, right now i use plastic bags...which between that and moving yarn is really more temptation than my cats can handle and makes life difficult ...something like this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84583.msg797844#msg797844 would be great, but really any big bag would be nice you would be a life saver if you would make me an awesome project bag...i really really want this! i like these bag shapes too...

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=68197.0

*these bloo mittens http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=81651.0

* Anthropologie-inspired capelet (with a brooch would be a super extra bonus)
www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=62184.0

* messanger bag in fun fabric with pockets... you can never have too many of these...i would love it even more if it had matching zipper bags with it to help me organize....with a 2 year old and one on the way, you can never try to hard to be organized

*handmade journal...anykind.. .but i do love this one (in case you need ideas)
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=57967.0

*DIY Bookbinding Kit

*a lap quilt or DIY kit to make one...any color scheme....even simple squares would be great... i would so do a happy dance and be your best friend if you grant this one....

*a surprise - something with glittery stuff... rhinestones in particular, but glitter does make everything better (it might be fun if you wanted to make me a maternity t-shirt...i just found out im pregnant...and there honestly is very little sparkly maternity stuff out there...i would probably wear a med or large ... though nothing tacky please - i would never be able to pull off "knocked up" or something like that Shocked )

*these ---> http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter05/PATTpocketcreatures.html or something like them of your own creation...or a DIY kit for me to make them...i would love peppermint oil scenting them THANK YOU so much!!! i am really looking forward to getting these Cheesy i'm leaving this on the list pocket creatures can always use companions

*roving

*a trifold knit kit like this: www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82733.60

*a velvet scarf like this  ( http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=65841.0 ) with some kind of retro or cutesy theme would also make me very happy

*geometric mod fabric

*i so covet a set of these glasses : http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=86122.0

a little about me...im 28... i live in ohio (in an icebox for an apartment) ...i love cutesy things esp. japanese style like hello kitty and tare panda... and that kanzashi stuff (that i just discovered through this site)...i also like retro/mod style stuff and colorful things (except kelly green nothing against any kelly's out there and oranges, greens and yellows in general are best left for accents colors)...oh and i love  cutesy penguins...gir from invader zim...the sheep from wallace and grommet...bloo and edwardo from fosters....the cheat from homestar...hmm...im not sure what else to put, pm me if you are curious about anything....and again pre-thank you to anyone who chooses me...

Fastest approval ever! Thanks, irid3sc3nt.

Here's my list. HUGE thanks to anyone who decides to craft for me.

Sewn:
-an eye pillow/stress pillow (but not denim please) with lavender or rice or flax seeds in it-- ideally something I can put in the freezer to make it cold

-a drawstring pouch (ideally lined), about the size of a 5x7 card, to hold my 'pod and headphones

-a Jordy bag in fun fabrics! maybe something Japanese-themed or kitschy? It would be great if it were big enough to carry a hardcover book.

-a circular needle holder would be fantastic.

-a change purse that would also hold bills. Corduroy or a darker fabric would be great. Something fun. Maybe embroidered, if you're into that?

Jewelry-type:
-a bracelet made of typewriter keys like this one   (I would love you forever)

-a beaded necklace with no hanging pieces, longer than a choker

-A pair or two of dangly earrings (no more than 1.5" long) with blue, green, purple, pink, or red beads (or some combination thereof?)

Miscellaneous-type:
-art for my walls, ideally in earthy tones-- greens, browns, dark oranges, etc.  our bedding has sort of an India theme going on.

-handmade writing paper/stamped, stencilled, whatever. something pretty.

-something Pirates of the Caribbean themed.

-a t-shirt with an image from Don't Let The Pigeon Drive the Bus by Mo Willems on it (size women's medium)

-a needle-felting how-to kit

-supplies for a window herb garden. this would be awesome.

-little sculpey or fimo friends  thank you crystalfairy!

-stitch markers with shrinky dinks

-a Sublime Stitching kit or other simple embroidery pattern

About me: I'm 28 and live in NYC. I, like most New Yorkers, wear lots of black, but I love bags with lots of personality. My favorite colors are blue, purple, green, chocolate brown, and daffodil yellow, but I like most any color as long as it's not neon. I love things that have camp value, particularly 50's/early 60's style. I do not have nearly enough stuff with garden gnomes on it. I spend most of my free time knitting and watching the Food Network, and I'm always carrying around at least one book.

Thanks again in advance to anyone who decides to craft for me!

I'm a 21 year old English major living in eastern North Carolina.

My Wish List

1.   Embroidery patterns (Sublime Stitching or some like these: http://www.patternbee.com/houselinens1.html)

2.    I really need some recipe cards, about the size of 4x6 index cards.  I'd like if they were blanks, for writing the
recipes, but decorated (maybe with a pretty kitchen theme (my kitchen is pale pink, white, silver, and
sage), or with a nature theme (i.e. bluebirds, fawns, owls, etc.))

3.   A knitted clapotis (in any shade, but esp. brown and blue)

4.   I really need a sewing goodies roll-up like here; Ive tried making one, but cant get the pattern to work out: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=73010.0

5.   A jasfitz clutch like here (or in a tote-bag style would be amazing): http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=79785.0

6.   Resin pendant like this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=60259.0

7.   A shawl like this in tan or denim blue to wear with jeans http://www.bellaonline.com/ArticlesP/art14841.asp

8.   One of these adorable knitting needle books- its so cute! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82733.60

9.   Id love some fabrics for patchwork quilts; all cottons, please; I really love reds, oranges, greens, turquoise, creams, yellows, purples, lavenders, blues, browns, just about any color but neon; feedsacks, prints from the 20s-50s, tiny dots or flowers, or anything that would be fun for a patchwork quilt

10.   Crafting magazines (like Bust)

11.   Origami paper would be fantastic!

12.   A knitted hat or panta in brown or olive

13.   Mixed paper journal would be wonderful!

14.   Springy tote http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83530.0

15.   Dayflower lace scarf in pale blue or pale pink

16.   Grey Japanese rib beret: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=87505.0 love the style and color

17.   A pincushion!  Id love a cute pincushion

2.   Embroidery thread, hoops, and blanks (Id love a white pillowcase or tea towel)[/s Thank you to whomever is feeding my addiction!  I just got the most amazing embroidery kit, and I'm already hooked!

(i updated my wishlist!)

I'm in Portland, OR, USA

Sewing/fabric:

1. A bag like this one:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84722.0
I luuuuuuuuurve it, especially the birdy theme (and size! i have a lot of books).  Maybe in green?  I would love you forever!  Or a tote in the style of this one (Im not such a fan of the fabric): http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83530.0
2. A circle skirt or a similarly non-tight knee-ish length skirt.  PM me for size/colors.
3. A flat-bottomed, zippered (maybe vinyl-lined for easy cleaning?) make-up bag.  The one I have now is cute, but I've had it since 7th grade.
4. A stenciled/silkscreened shirt or bag.  Things Ive been into lately: birds, cherry blossoms, cats, trees, the phrase cat party, muffins.  PM me if you need more ideas/sizes.
5.  A vinyl tote/large purse with some freestyle sewing-machine embroidery.
6. A belt.  Id like something that can go with lots of different colors (maybe a neutral-y blue or green and white?) and I wear my jeans low on my hips, so PM me for measurements!
7. A nice sturdy grocery tote or two like these: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47761.0

Knit/crochet:

1. Amirugami animal modeled after one of my pets (your pick of cats, dog, or hamster)
2. A headband like this one: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=74104.0
3. A knitted cloche hat.  Id love one in olive, cranberry, beige/brown, or a deep reddish orange.  Warm, earthy tones look best on me.  I also like this hat: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=73290.0
4. A felted anything.  A felted bag would be neat.  Ooh, or felted beads!
5. A kittyville hat: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=51433.0

Paper crafts:

1. A handmade journal of some sort.  One to keep track of swaps would be great!
2. Handmade stationery or notecards with envelopes.  I like the ones at the bottom of this page: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=87532.msg838418#msg838418
3. Paper stars for me to hang in my room like these ones: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83862.0;topicseen

A DIY kit for any of the following:

1. making resin pendants
2. soapmaking
3. stenciling or screen-printing
4. kanzashi flowers
5. making stuffies!  (please no creepy eyes!)
6. knitting
7. clay beads
9. making paper
or surprise me with a cool DIY craft kit! I love learning how to make new things!

Other:

1. I love this crane necklace: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72997.msg686245;topicseen
2. Teeny little super guy glass: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=86122.0
3. A surprise!

Supplies:

Im just getting into journal making and I would love some neat paper!  Mostly text-weight or scrapbook paper no cardstock, unless its a really cool pattern.  I would also LOVE some pre-cut bookboard/chipboard if you have any laying around (weird, I know, but I dont have anywhere to buy it, much less something strong enough to cut it).  **If you choose me for this, PLEASE write do not bend on your package!!  My mailman likes to try and cram things into the mailbox**

About me: I'm a 19 year old working college student in Portland, Oregon.  Im studying to become a social worker.  I love nature and animals; I have 3 cats, a dog, a hamster, and some fish.  I don't like super flashy things (huge pink flowers.  no) and my favorite colors are green, red, and blue.  I love vintage stuff -- some of my favorite fabrics are 30s style prints.  I also like more modern patterns, like bold stripes and polka dots and there is a special place in my heart for super-cutesy cat prints.

Thank you!!

yay! I'm james, 29 and live near allentown, PA. my life consists of embroidering and Xstitching my own patterns (I love doing cartoon characters), making felt dolls, and working on my DIY interior decorating book. I love elvis costello, bob saget, kids shows on disney channel (that's so raven!!!), collecting polar bears, [adult swim], harry potter, collecting clip art and art supplies, dogs (I have a little mixed terrier named bruce wayne for his strangely huge bat ears), and bunches of other stuff. thanks in advance to anyone who wants to make me very very happy!

SUPPLIES
-14 or 18ct aida cloth - black, or any other color (but not white or cream)
-punch embroidery needle threaders, and cameo replacement needles for my puncher (size small). I haven't been able to find these in any store and hate ordering them online 'cause they're tiny and just a couple bucks.
-faber-castell pitt black ink pens (the set of 4)
-9x12 or 11x14 vellum bristol board
-a kooh-i-noor rapidograph mechanical pencil size 0.7. I lost mine ages ago and have not been the same since!
-iron on photo transfers for my comp, the kind for dark colors
-colored sharpies! any color, they are so awesome
-and hell, while you're at it, how about an entire set of coptic markers (72 pens, set A)! I mean, they're only $270 at dick blick! Tongue

CRAFTY STUFF
-a polar bear amigurumi
-gaz and dib felt dolls (from invader zim). they're on my to-craft list, but near the bottom so I don't know if I'll ever get to them!
-anything (tote, shirt (womens XL or mens L), pillow, anything!) with zombies, elvis costello, bob saget, or harry potter (I'm a slytherin and love snape, draco and lucius)!
-lightweight armwarmers with thumbholes in black or aqua. I am always cold and had a great pair to wear while typing but I lost them.
-some kind of little protective pouch for my cell phone, which is 2" wide, 4.5" long, and 3/4" deep - a clunker, I know
-anything bath-and-body, vanilla scent
-knit wide headbands thank you whoever you are!
-wrist pincushion, maybe some kind of cute food or animal shape
-and kind of cool case to hold my cigarettes and lighter (I know, I know, no lectures!)

STUFF
-burned cds,as I am broke and also had some cds swiped!: any camera obscura, swiss dot, cat's miaow, rainer maria, mr airplane man; slumber party (any other than the s/t), softies - holiday in rhode island, any mary timony (other than mountains), tori amos - scarlett's walk (thanks taloola, and the bonus cd is great!), elvis costello - trust, armed forces, and spike (also scratched to hell from overplay!) , david cross and mitch hedburg comedy cds
-san-x stationery (I love little notepads, pen & pencil sets, erasers, any kind of mini office supply)
-software - totally legal, not in any way illegally burned copies Wink (for Mac) of: mac osx panther OR tiger, adobe photoshop 7 (boo hoo, I still only have 5), adobe illustrator 10, quark Xpress 6 (I have 4.04), suitcase (anything above 3.0 - yes, I haven't updated mine for 10 years!). my programs are pretty outdated, sine most of them I oh-so-legally 'obtained' them from the school computer lab years ago!

thanks, you will make my day! and I will swap back often!

About me:
If you're just perusing this forum looking for someone to pick, take me. I'm getting my wisdom teeth out last week (which is also Spring Break) and had absolutely no fun. Help a crafty (puffy-cheeked, sore) sister out.

This is basically a repost of my March list because nobody picked me.
I'm a hip young lady with a penchant for obsessive knitting. I love making and sending and getting crafty stuff. Thanks in advance to anyone even thinking about picking me!

Stuff I Like:
Harry Potter, Chuck Norris, My Little Ponies, Star Wars (Young Jedi Knights with Tenel Ka is my favorite series/character), Centaurs, mermaids, koi, birds, Anime/manga, cosplay, gothic lolita, Tim Burton, and any Yokishita Amano-like artwork.

Stuff I'd like:
-An Owl Purse
-Raddish Earrings
-Zippered Pouches Thank you so much, Nameless Craftster!
-Totes of all Shapes and sizes
-A Skirt (Wrap, Circle, Whatever)
-A shirt with something related to my interests on it  (I'd really really love a shirt with a My Little Pony (preferably with the baby Firefly http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v505/EmilyKin/firefly.gif or Applejack, but really, whoever) stenciled on the front of it)
-Suprise me!

--Also, as a deliciously nerdy project, Im going to be knitting Rons Chudley Cannons blanket from the Newest HP movie.

Any yarn that you have in these colors (acrylic is probably the most rampant in these colors in this case) would be awesome.
....Yarn in burgundy, tans/browns, oranges of all shades, off whites, pea greens, whatever. I'd adore any older, crusty thrift store yarn in hideous 70's flourescent oranges and browns!  Please help the Weasley Blanket cause!

Long Shots:
-Bbloomers (like a pirate!)
-A Supanya-inspired top
-An owl/Faun Plushie / bag
-Mrs. Weasly Crocheted Sleeves. I'll buy the pattern if you'll crochet them for me. (http://www.fruitcats.com/Jo's/sleeves.htm) ZOMG! Thank you so much, Dabba!

Hi! I am Robyn, I am 21, 4 weeks away from graduating with my bachelors!

Any clothing/hats Id prefer if they were black, beige, brown, or white, they dont need to be solid, they could be prints including these colors. I pretty much will like anything thats not: Hawaiian flowers, neon colors, gothic.  I love vintage and vintage inspired items.

Hello! Cheesy

I live in the UK and am 34 years old with 2 cats.  I love making things, especially knitting and crochet.  I love pink, red and green, especially with leopard or zebra print.  And black with pink. I also love polka dots, cherries, strawberries, cupcakes, compasses and skull and crossbones.  I love sweet smells, my favourite perfume is Angel.  My hero is Bettie Page and my style aspires to be crafty pin up pirate punk!

This is my wishlist...

A flower choker, maybe a bit like this one??  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=33276.0

A knit or crochet neckwarmer!  This one is gorgeous http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=88028.0 As is this one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=52083.0 and this one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=86135.0 and this one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=69655.0 or http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=65887.0 http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=80471.0 http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=78513.0 (crikey, there are a lot of gorgeous neckwarmers about!!)

Hair accessories - bows/clips/hairbands etc.  I have long dark hair in a Bettie style.

Armwarmers! I  love http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=75506.0 or this type of thing http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=65006.0

Something to keep may hair straighteners on.  At the mo, I use a plain little offcut pice of wood, but I'd love something a little more burlesque and pretty!

A "how to make bath bombs" kit

Something for the kitchen, like a nice pretty apron that a 50s housewife would wear, or a tea towel or an oven glove (I could really do with an oven glove - I burnt mine! ha ha ha!  Cheesy)

Sparkly crochet hooks! Someone in the crafty detective swap received some and they look fab! I don't think we have anything quite that cool in the UK!

Oh my goodness - thank you so much!  Kiss

I'd love a lolita skirt, I think the shape of this one is so beautiful http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=77132.0;topicseen

I'd be blown away by a pair of (possibly pink?!) bloomers!! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=71820.0

If you chose me, I will be so chuffed!  Smiley

ooh! edited to add:  I adore sparkly things, but please don't send anything with glitter on that may come loose.  My husband has accidentally been to work twice with bits of glitter on his face and didn't realise until a couple of hours into the day.  I won't repeat what he said, (but it did include a hilarious (to me, not him) comment about looking like "Ziggy f***ing Stardust") Anyway, suffice to say he wasn't a happy bunny and now no glitter is allowed in the house  Cry

Some peculiar but fairly important facts about me:
  • My name is Beth
  • I live in West Sussex, England
  • My favourite colour is red
  • ...but I really like all colours!  Rainbows are especially awesome.
  • I'm a vegetable vegetarian
  • I'm a hippy nerd... which isn't even a thing!
  • Some themes I like are: cherries, monochrome, pirates, polka-dots, flowers ...
  • Here's a swap questionnaire from my craft blog, for inspiration!

Thank you for reading my list  Kiss

Crafted things:
  • A pleated miniskirt, like this skirt only a little bit shorter Grin.  In green and red, or orange and pink, or any colour combination you think is cool.
  • A pretty sparkly silvery necklace to wear for when I play in concerts.  It has to be quite dainty and discrete so I don't stand out in the band Wink
  • A jazz mix CD - I really want to get into jazz, as I think listening to it will make me better at playing it... I'd love to get a sort of Jazz Starter Kit with all the tracks you think are great.
  • Hair bobbles!  My hair's just grown long enough to put into pigtails (Cheesy) and the only bands I have are really boring.
  • ATCs on any theme ^_^ I have them stuck to one of my walls as decoration, and I'm always on the lookout for more!
  • One of those mixed-paper journals that everyone loves so much, because they're gorgeous and I really want an ideas book to write in.  Obviously, this one is a big ask, but I thought I might try my luck Wink
  • A collar - like a kitty collar only big enough for a human to wear (and perhaps without the bell!)
  • A lucky little toy, since I have lots of exams coming up, it would be nice to have something cute to keep with me for moral support.
  • Now I think about it, I could really do with a roomy see-through pencilcase for exams!  I always have to resort to using plastic wallets to fit my calculator in  Cry
  • A surprise!  Perhaps something along the theme of The Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Jeeves books by PG Wodehouse, or anything from my blog list!

Supplies:
  • A set of size US7/UK7/4.5mm double pointed needles (I'm going to make an earflappy hat for a friend to get over my DPN fear and I need to get the tension right!)
  • Coloured Sharpies - we don't have them over here in the UK Sad but I can think of a million things to use them for. - thank you, themixtaper!  They're really great
  • Pretty lightweight knitted fabric - I would love to experiment into making my own girlboxers!
  • Sock yarn - I've never used it, my local shops don't stock it (as far as I'm aware, I'm always too scared to ask) and I have a backlog of patterns I want to make with it  Roll Eyes
  • Shrinky dink paper!  Where on earth do people buy this stuff? I would love you forever if you could find me some of this  Kiss

I'll be adding to this as I remember stuff I wanted.  Hope somebody picks me!  I'll swap back as much as possible ^_^

    i am in tennessee  Cool

supplies
  • yarn - my only request is no pink or purple
  • circular knitting needles
  • fabric - fat quarters or larger would be amazing! as for style, i love anything vintage, amy butler, munki munki, aunt grace 30s, japanese "kawaii" fabrics, cute animal prints, pretty small floral prints, anything that looks like it could be from reprodepot.com would put a smile on my face!
THANK YOU Mystery Craftster!
  • cool scrapbooking or bookbinding paper
  • how to felt kit
  • how to embroider kit
  • an "i'm bored, so i'll do this!" kit for rainy days or craftster being down
  • a grab bag of miscellaneous crafting supplies
  • any gocco printer supplies you no longer need, i'll take em!
  • bookboard (aka daveyboard), bookcloth or bookbinding supplies
  • old, vintage, or thrifted tee shirts (sizes: ladies large or extra large, youth large or extra large, men's small or medium) - any cool, tacky graphics (think a giant great white shark that wraps around the entire shirt or something neat from seaworld in the 80s), old sports shirts with numbers on the back, old dare type shirts, kitschy graphics, state shirts, i "heart" new york stuff, anything like that, any color; the older looking, the better! it'd be amazing if someone sent me a couple of these, i'd be so grateful!

miscellaneous stuff
  • some wooden jewellry, especially earrings (pref. silver findings, gold tends to irritate my ears)
  • quirky earrings in general; i'm not too girly, so nothing too frilly. cute fun things over super pretty would be more my style
  • an animal stuffy; maybe a wombat, an octopus, an elephant, a kangaroo, a koala, or something not so run of the mill
  • amigurumi critter
  • a roomy tote bag
  • a medium sized duffle bag (i guess big enough to carry for a weekend trip or on a plane)
  • a neat care package from your part of the world or state
  • a bunch of japanese stationary/stickers/envelopes/paraphanalia; "kawaii" stuff, if you will
  • a pretty blank paged journal; i can never have enough!
  • homemade candies or fudge
  • pretty or sweet smelling homemade soaps
  • ANYTHING neutral milk hotel themed, other than some mix cds (since i have every single known recording, it's insane)
  • something with the phrase "banjos not bombs" on it; maybe some stationary, maybe a bag, journal, anything! it'd be awesome to receive this
  • i don't know if i can ask for this, but, if anyone has a copy of andrew bird's album called "music for hair" (or could download it? the computers here i can't use limewire on), if they could send me a copy of this i would adore them FOR EVER AND EVER
  • a surprise of one of my favorite "themes" (if you will)!
    - neutral milk hotel
    - anchors or pirate ships
    - vintage surfing images / surfing in general (i really adore the old school stuff tho)
    - the sea
    - animals! (favorites are australian critters & octopi)
    - banjos & fiddles

wearables
  • a woman's large hoodie with the words "banjos not bombs" on the back
  • a woman's large tank top (please not a cami) with something embellished, appliqued, painted, or screened on it; it's up to you!
  • a totoro hat
  • a hipslinger

about me
pretty much just a displaced hippie tree hugger (without the drugs) born 100 years too late. right now i live and work on an organic farm in tennessee. i've lived all over the globe in less than 22 years, i like to think of myself as lucky. a few vices of mine include neutral milk hotel, chocolate, banjos, surfing, pirate ships, hoodies, all animals, anchors, tatoos, and anything old timey. i sew, knit, make books, make toys, now make soap & lotion bars, and am skilled in all printmaking methods (if i may toot my own horn). i love craftster, love filling wishes, and am thankful for anyone who takes the time to read!
i have a swap info page, which is more detailed about my likes & dislikes, feel free to give it a read or add me to your lj:
http://plush-octops.livejournal.com/12357.html

thank you in advance! Smiley

I'm sorry.  Something like four tornadoes ripped through my town last night.  One was a block away and took the top off of the church.  Look up Iowa City and St. Patrick's church.  I'm currently at my parents.  Please have patience, I will be back home on Sunday.  Thank you.

I'm back home!  Luckily our place hadn't been hit, but it's sad when something like this happens where you live.  This is the closest a tornado has come by me (but not the first).  Lots of hail and this huge noise.  Just a big noise.  The kitty and I were in shelter together and my bf was at work.
Thanks for all the kindness and now let's get craftin'! Grin

Yay! I'm approved! Cheesy And I'm so glad to hear you're doing okay irid3sc3nt!!

My list, in no particular order....and don't take the links too seriously, they're just general examples for the most part Smiley

And a HUGE thank you in advance to anyone that chooses me!!!

knitted or crocheted fingerless wrist/forearm warmers..something like these maybe   http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=23436.0

wrist cuff of some kind based on my likes, anything but duct tape would be awesome. I really like this one for an example of a knitted version.. http://www.etsy.com/view_item.php?listing_id=123372 or this http://www.etsy.com/view_item.php?listing_id=123520 minus the pop tabs, maybe ribbon or something else in there? Definitely don't have to be knitted or crocheted though. YAY! Thank you!!!

a handmade journal
something like this would be awesome  http://www.etsy.com/view_item.php?listing_id=29033 . I really like the ones where you can see the binding,  but I would love any kind. I also really like the style of this  http://www.etsy.com/view_item.php?listing_id=5637

mixed CDs w/ bagpipe music or celtic music

a cute camera cozy for my digital camera..something like this maybe http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47786.0

a tote w/ an across the shoulder strap, kind of a messenger bag style w/out the flap maybe...anything would be awesome really, I'd be beyond thrilled.

fabric! Any kind would be fantastic...so long as it's fairly easy to work with, I'll find a use for it somewhere for sure! I can't find ANY tattoo fabric around here and the selection of pre-quilted fabrics are pretty slim too so either of those would be great.

a cute little amigurumi

something embroidered, maybe some cute dish towels or even just a fabric piece that I could frame up for my walls

some kind of unique pincushion...a mushroom, or snail or something completely off the wall that you think up

any back issues of Sew News or Threads magazines

a cute glasses case

a measuring tape belt or wrist cuff  http://www.etsy.com/view_item.php?listing_id=77653

random lists of quotes, catchy phrases, poetry, etc

sewing notions of any kind...zippers, purse endlosures or handles, magnets, pins, etc...I would looove some different colored 6 strand embroidery floss

some funky office stuff for the desk at work...pen holders, magnets, artwork, etc

a beaded id badge/lanyard for my badge I have to wear at work. I love everything about this one  http://www.etsy.com/view_item.php?listing_id=119624

A surprise! I love surprises!!

I'm 24 and live in Illinois...surrounded by corn everywhere! lol I work in corporate America as a claims adjuster so I like to have fun and funky crafty things to come home to. I don't really have a specific style, just depends on my mood. I like mixing old and new things together to make something unique, I love anything vintage or vintage inspired. I love anything and everything fantasy related, especially dragons and fae. I also like skulls, pirates, anything sweet and innocent with a dark twist to it (think Evil Alice in Wonderland), vampires, old 50s style pinups, black and white art, butterflies, simple daisies, anthing coffee related, monkeys, leaves and a whole slew of other things. I pretty much adore anything that is unique/weird/out of the ordinary or extremely simple. My favorite colors are turquoise, teal or aqua, black, brown, all shades of green except neon, deep purples..I like jewel tones and earth tones a lot. Ummm....I think that's plenty about me...PM me if you need to know anything else. (and here I thought this would be the hardest part of the whole post. LoL)

And again, thank you, thank you, thank you! Smiley

I am a highschool student in the US. I craft as much as I can cause it is the only thing keeping me going right now, besides the fact that I am graduating this year. I love angels, Japanese culture, marching band, stitch from Disneys lilo and stitch, fairies and mermaids. My room is verydisorganized so I need lots of help organizing my fabric, beads yarn and the loads of other stuff I collect. My fav colors are blue, pink, red, and grey.

Thank you for making my day and making my wishes come true Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

I've picked someone to send to and been approved, so now I can post my list!

Fabric

Fat Quarters of purple, yellow or gold - I'm planning to make a quilt for our bed and am collecting fabrics for it right now.  Small prints or patterns would be best but nothing creepy, I like pretty rather  Smiley

Sewing

I would love a full apron (with a bib) - adult size large.  Any color but black or pink

Tote bag - big enough to hold some yarn and a pattern book.  No zipper.  The brighter and bolder the better  Smiley

Cross-stitch

A teapot picture with the teapot measuring about 3" x 3" and the aida cloth at least 6" x 6" so I can frame it to match the few others I have.

Any picture that features tulips, scarecrows or sunflowers

Knit

I'd love for someone to knit me a dishcloth or two.

Wooden Items

Something to stand on my display shelves, that's under 12" tall, and relating to tulips, scarecrows or sunflowers.

Other

I collect miniature kitchen utensils so anything to add to this collection would be appreicated.

About me:  I'm from Alberta, Canada, and am a stay at home Mom of 2 teenage sons.  I love making crafts and swapping with people.  My favorite colors are dark green and dark blue.
