So, after all the sewing machine problems I had, and all the problems I had with screwing up the bag handles, THIS is what I came out with:

Yes. I am definatly kicking myself for using the white thread instead of brown. Damn!
Also, when I was buying the fabrics & etc, I let the lady at Hancocks talk me out of getting the amount of interfacing that the pattern calls for. So, as you can tell, its a little flimsy.  Undecided

I like it. Don't kick yourself about the thread I sometimes do that also be forgetting to take out one thread and just start sewing and like dang grrr but, its still cute no matter what. I am the type to us my thread as part of the style of the handbag and purses so I am that zigzag type so then it looks designed more then sewn up. Smiley

If you can make clothes a nice skirt with that fabric and a white tee shirt which you can buy anywhere would be nice with some plain white flip floops would be cool:)

I made a homecoming dress a couple of yrs ago.. With some help. (I took a sewing class)
I'll have to post a pic of it sometime. Some girl told me it looked like a purple garbage bag./.. but she was just being mean, cause I think it was cute.

What an adorable bag!!  I love the colors, I like the white thread on the inside it really makes the lining pop.  Just tell everyone you meant to do it that way!   Wink  gorgeous, gorgeous!
