Hello all!  Spring has sprung where I live.

Now begins the great challenge of finding fun and functional summertime knits that don't look like granny clothes!  What are you guys working on?  Any great sites you like?

I'm actually knitting some socks right now for Sockapaloooza, and then after that it's socks for someone else ("hooray, it's spring! I'm going to celebrate by making...wool socks!") but after that!! I just bought "The Yarn Girls Guide to Beyond the Basics" and there are some neat tank and tee patterns in it that I'm going to try. I have to redo the numbers to make the correct size though.  Undecided

I can't wait to see the new Knitty when it comes out, should be any day now.

I'm itching to do something spring-y! But I am forcing myself anxious to finish a sweater I started at the beginning of time a while ago for my husband. It's almost an obsession honor thing now.

I just bought the yarn and stuff to make Rambling Rose from Rowan 39. Someone online said it's "granny looking", but I am going to try to pull it off anyway. I think it's beautiful!

I'm crystalnickel on Ravelry!

Visit my blog at http://cnp71203.blogspot.com/. It has a little of everything... well, most things!

I'm going to start on Glampyre's Orangina and Minisweater (3/4 sleeves modification), and an intarsia beanie for my boyfriend knit with sport weight yarn.  Smiley  None of my yarn is here yet and I've nothing on my needles so I'm going through knitting withdrawal right now!

I'm also eagerly awaiting the new spring Knitty.

i've started the fisherman shrug from knit it, i'm using a completely different yarn so it's the first time i've had to do a lot of maths - going well so far! it's for a wedding in july, which sounds like a silly thing to knit for summer, but i am in england after all.

got my first socks on the go too - spring is a time for new things!

I'm big into knitting wraps and shrugs right now, very untraditional stuff, loose and flowing and a little wingy. Drama, that's what I aim for! I like to strike a pose in a doorway and have my knitting just sort of hang out. Lately, though, all my designs seem to evoke food (what's up with that?). I have one piece called 'Pralines&Cream' and I'm working on another in edible colors, too.

I am making a ton of baby socks as it seems like everyone I know is pregnant!  I have 2 and 1/2 pairs completed and I think that I have to make 2 more.  I need to knit up a hat or something to go along with them, but want something a bit more creative!  I do need to make a good spring tank for myself though after these babies are done...

I'm making my second clapotis for the office (when they crank up the AC) I've decided to dedicated this summer to socks.
