This is a picture I made a few years ago...unfortunately I'm too cheap to have adobe but all those other programs make some nice things too.
Enjoy (this is on the north shore of hawaii the night before my third daughter was born)

Entered in a contest and won first place in its category. I'm surprised not many people have done something like this before..

Entered in same contest but didn't win anything in its category. Pay more attention to the girl rather than everything else. The rest is ugly. lol

create an extra layer on top of the original and turn the top layer to back and white the use the background eraser on whatever you want to show colour, this will erase the part of the black and white layer and let the colour fro the bottom layer through! hope that helped some, im not good with instructions! Wink
