I used an old tin, and a stolen airplane safety guide.
Alas, some poor soul will desperately search in his seatback pocket for this such guide, and just be shit out of luck as the plane crashes.

But it makes for a cool tampon case, I think.  And it holds 4 tampons exactly, perfectly. Now my tampons won't come flying out of my purse when I open it, which is always a plus.

thats so cool. i have an envelope clutch that looks pretty similar to that. its the same idea
