Nothing is so simple that it can't be screwed up

My girlfriend is getting married and we are giving her a shower in July.  The theme is "Flower Garden" and it will be outdoors.  I am supposed to come up with some favor ideas.  I have lots of time before the shower to craft things, but I will need to make about 50.  Actually, one of the other bridesmaids is crafty too, so we could split the work.  Please give me all your ideas- I need to pitch them to her on Monday!

My only idea thus far is felt flower pins...

Libby- Thank you soooooooo much!  I love the flower pen idea!  I searched craftster and someone had a nice tutorial.  I am going to buy some pens and flowers tomorrow and make a few before I meet with my girlfriend.  I am sure she will love the idea.  Thanks again!

they're relatively easy, inexpensive, and don't take too much time to make. smaller ones make great hair accessories and bigger ones make good purse/ jacket accessories Smiley

Flower soaps, maybe? Or flower chocolates if it will not be too hot?

The pen idea is great -- you can make centerpeices by "arranging" them in vases or pots at the tables and having every one "pick" their own!

She loved the pens!  I made a sample of about 10 pens and put them in a vase. I used hydrangeas, and they look so pretty.   They look really cute and will make great centerpieces.  Now I have to make about 40 more.  But I have until July.  Thanks everyone!
