I'm going to be attending a family reunion in the Zion National Park area in June...since I'm not much of a hiker, I thought I might hijack one of the rental cars and do some thrift hunting on at least one day!  Does anyone know of good thrift stores or other crafty places of note in Southern Utah?  It looks like the nearest largeish town is St. George, for reference.  Thanks for your help!

I'm mostly interested in thrift emporiums, a la Goodwill, where I can pick up supplies (textiles, towels, clothing to reconstruct, funky housewares, etc.) for cheap.  But I would also love to visit stores dedicated to vintage clothing, cheap or pricy, if there are any hidden jewels you know of.  Thanks!

All I know for sure is Deseret Industries. If you head north to Cedar City instead of south to St. George, we have DI, a Catholic Thrift shop, and several antique stores that have some funky stuff in them.

Thanks for the tip!  I'll check out Cedar City if I get a chance.
