Just not enough hours in the day to do craft

My reason for hoarding fabric:

1.  Because its pretty and I like pretty things in my life.

2.  I buy fabric that appeals to me because I may use it in a project one day.  Eventually I will use it even if it takes about 10 years.   (OMG  I just realised that some of the fabric in my stash, I bought 10 years ago.  I have managed to use some of it though.)

3.  If I don't buy the fabric that appeals to me immediatedly,  It won't be there or will be sold out when I really need it for some project.

4.  I make dolls, I quilt and make lots of bags, purses, pouches and things to sell,  so I need a lot of variety in my stash.

5.  Do I really need another reason

 Your #3 is my #1! That's why I have a mighty stash.
Thanks to this swap I've seen some fabrics I missed at the stores.

I'm up for doing a round 2 - I had read somewhere else on Craftster that people weren't happy because they couldn't get feedback from an ongoing swap.  So, if we change to another round, they will be happy  Grin

Did anyone notice in the last few pages that ilovepaper received from me???  I guess this means that I have another claim - or do I have to be patient until loves2experiment notices and changes things on the first page?  (patience is not one of my best virtues)  EDIT - Oops, silly me, I should have checked the first page before posting this - loves2 has already updated it!!!!!!!  YEAH for me!!!!!

Okay, some of you may think I'm warped when I say this (but then maybe I just fit in) - I sent out 3 parcels the same day, 2 to the US and 1 to Australia and they were having a race.  But, I was sure Australia would win because things usually get there faster, but alas! the US won this round  Cheesy   (okay, so maybe I am warped)

I'd like to add my vote for a new round!!  I just found this swap and would love to join but the 80+ pages are a bit daunting to search through.

I'm back after a long time away and trying to find time to craft as I adjust to life as a mom!

I'm up for a Round II!!
Haha, even though I haven't started swapping yet  Wink
This is a great swap and I'm sure most everybody will continue with it!
I just buy fabric I really like, because when I actually think of something to use it for, it probably won't be there anymore, or not on sale, or something... and I just love fabric, and having pretty prints lying around everywhere!
The last time I bought a bunch of different fabrics I loved, I hugged them when I got home  Tongue
I'm insane >_<;;

Round 2 does sound great -- this round has been fun!

In the meantime, for those of you who don't want to sort through 80+ pages, but are interested in claiming this round, I think that aeronberry's fabrics are up for grabs right now (despite mata's post -- she did say "go ahead" and that she'd be back tomorrow, so it seems like she didn't claim, right?)

You can see aeronberry's fabrics here.

See? You don't have to sort through 80+ pages! Just this one! Claim one of aeronberry's fabrics and jump on in!

I live on the west coast. She lives on the east coast. We discuss crafts in between. Right here: Trans-craft-inental.

a little off the fabric track but (possibly) helpful......
I sort my posts in reverse order so that the newest replies are on page 1.

I did that when I got home from the sowing fair Smiley But they were the prettiest fabrics ever.. you'd all be so jealous Wink
