To get us started, here's some roving I recently dyed for the sweat shop swap.

This was an experiment with a mix between warm and cold pour dying.  Unfortunately the results came out pretty much just like dyepot dying.  But there are some color variations, and the color is very pretty.  I think it looks like being underwater.



All of these were experiments with cold pour dying/hand painting.





These are little bits I did while I was doing the others.  Most are handpainted, some got dumped in the dye pots, some got used to wipe up dye spills on the table, etc!

ooo the first one does look like being underwater. The last bits look like cotton candy, as well. Of course, its difficult to make colorful fluffy bits NOT look like cotton candy Wink

I had so much fun making those little bits. When the pieces are small like that, nothing's off limits to try because if you screw it up, you aren't ruining very much.

The bad news is I totally need another grab bag from sheepshed now!
