I made this bag for a friend for her birthday.  I actually made another one in different shades (for another friend for her b-day...their b-days are a few days apart) but I'd already given it away.  I'm pretty happy how it came out considering the rouching that got in the way!  Oh...we're all going to NYC with school in April so i thought they could use it to carry all their shopping!   Grin

as a native New Yorker, i have to tell you how much i love love love your bag. the colors are perfect, and i'm impressed with how you did all the layers over the pleating. compared with all the other trashy souveniers tourists buy, this bag will definitely stand out! great job!

This is fantastic! I love New York, I love stencilling and I love pink bags. Basically, I love the work that you did. It really looks great.

Did you create the stencil yourself?

That looks so good!  I agree with stella, very impressive just to paint over those pleats at all, let alone with multiple layers.

You did use multiple layers, right?
