I saw something like this at the mall a few weeks ago and I just so happened to have some too-short jeans taking up prime closet space--so I gave it a shot:

It looked cute till I put it on. . .bleah.  I need to cut off a couple more inches of jeans--and maybe redo the waist so it's not so high.  Undecided  But I do love the fugly fabric.  Tongue

thats adorable.  I was thinking of doing that to recon a mini skirt I have worn through.  After seeing how cute yours in, I think I will definately be doing that.

Its really nice, did you follow a tutorial on Craftster or did you just do it on your own?

Now I know whats going to happen to my too short jeans Cheesy I've seen all those skirts where they use the leg of the jeans to make up the rest of the skirt but they just aren't what I was looking for. Thanks for the inspiration.

On of the best ways to give the jeans shape would be to cut up the side seams and crotch seams and add in panels. Something to do on the next skirt, but that's what I've found to work best. I like having all that jean right there.

I thought when you said "bleah" you said bleach.  LOL.  Then I was like, yeah, that would be cute with bleach.  I personally like it and don't mind the high waist.  I'm a dork and I wear my skirts like that anyway.
