After seeing someones Polka Dot Dr Scholls a while back I was inspired to paint my own. Acrylic paint and Acrylic Spray varnish. Here they are:

Are they comfy?  I keep them to wear at my office and they take a bit of getting used to. I don't find them super comfy but other people swear by them. I think I just prefer padded soles though.

Very cute!!  How do you paint them without it getting all over the straps??

I used masking tape to cover the leather straps completely to avoid getting paint on them. I used 3 coats of spray on acrylic varnish but I haven't really worn them yet so I'm not sure how resilient they are. I'm concerned they'll chip easily so if anyone has any varnish recommendations please let me know as I have some more to paint for friends.
