Details of swap:  Kick spring into gear with this swap!  We're going to be swapping just about everything having to do with plants!  Of course this includes fruits, veggies, herbs, flowers... anything you can grow (legally)!  This includes gardening paraphernalia, your gardening tips, basil earrings, radish hats, rosemary soap, on and on....!  But ultimately what you decide is between you and your partner.

Referring to plants, pretty much the only thing living you can send through the mail are seeds.  Not plants or bulbs.  Check with your postal service if you are sending outside of your country, you may need to fill out a Phytosanitary Certificate... or you may have to pick a different seed altogether!

I want another good, clean swap like last time.  There is a one month crafting time- I will only give one week's extension, so please do not wait until the last minute to craft. 

Remember that you need to communicate with your organizer and swap partner- bad communication will make me very angry and will be noted in your feedback.   

If you are currently in a poor financial situation, you are in the middle of moving, you are away from your computer for weeks at a time.... use good judgement and do not sign up for this swap.  Obviously, you have enough on your plate and a swap will only add more stress to you, your partner, and me, the organizer.

Also, if you or your housemate smokes, please wash any garments or other objects that would hold the scent before sending your package.

Please be aware of where your partner lives.  Plants that would work fine where you live in Florida, will probably not do so hot in New York.

Thanks, irid3sc3nt for starting up another round. I'm about to fill out the form, but first I wanted to post this website I found. It shows what zones the plants grow best in and everything. Not sure if it was posted already, but just in case.

Thank you!  I know some plants you can grow indoors or on a sun porch, but if it's something intended for outside, then it would be best to know the zones, you know?

I found another fun book at my local public library!  The beaded garden : creating flowers with beads and thread by Diane Fitzgerald.  And, wow, it can get pretty intricate.  The finished product looks really neat, though!  She has a few garden critters in the back, too.  There are beetles, caterpillars, millipedes, and butterflies.

I found another fun book at my local public library!  The beaded garden : creating flowers with beads and thread by Diane Fitzgerald.  And, wow, it can get pretty intricate.  The finished product looks really neat, though!  She has a few garden critters in the back, too.  There are beetles, caterpillars, millipedes, and butterflies.

I have been making beaded flowers for the past few days. It is taking me FOREVER to finish one little hyacinth stem. I want to try different flowers I am going to have to see if I can find this book you are talking about.
