Hey fellow craftster/party planners!

I am, once again, in need of your help. We are throwing a huge birthday bash (my bf and I are both turning 25). We've combined two of our favorite things, reggae music and robots and come up with the the party theme, Rasta-Bots! We have some good ideas and have the food, music covered. I'm here to ask you for decorating and activity advice....whatchyou got craftster community?

I'll reward with event pictures and virtual hugs.

Thanks in advance!

You can have like a few fake plants/palm trees and have a spaceship crashed into one (robots, kind of spacey...). or a robot with dreads.

decide if you what kind (if any) of costumes you want people to come in.

use silver spray paint and cardboard to make robot cut outs or costumes. and silver helium balloons.

label all your spirit bottles 'gasolene', 'motor oil', 'crude oil' etc.

play the nut and bolt game- all the guys get a specific bolt and all the girls get a specific nut- everyone has to find their matching nut or bolt by the end of the night.

make cookies shaped like sprokets or cogs.

as for the rasta part of the theme... what about elaborating on emielli's idea- a space ship full of robots which have crashed on an island?

oooh- label all your appliences! fridgebot, jukebot (stereo),cookbot (stove) etc.

Oooh,  great suggestions! Thank you. I especially like the idea of naming everything around the house bot names. Thank you. You inspired my creative juices.

The toilet could be turd-bot!  Bwah hahahah!  Sorry for the crudeness.  Maybe make a bot centerpiece out of some old can or water can and some cables coming out for hair?  Everything should be smiley I think Cheesy
