Hello Craftsters!
Ok, so this is Vincent Magnificent! He's inspired by Edward Gorey's Figbash/Doubtful Guest/Haunted Tea Cosy. I wasn't sure weather or not he should go in this category, as he is not completly needle felted, his face and hands are sewn, and the rest are felt shapes that are needle felted together. He's a magician complete with a rabbit in his hat... that's his only trick sadly, hehe!
Anyways, enjoy!

(he has a but-flap so you can see his polka-dot undies!)

Abso-freaking-lutely adorable.  I love his shoes!  Did you needle felt on store bought felt?  If so, did you find that it worked well?

Ya, he's made with store bought felt. I found that felting little pieces, such as the buttons were really tricky because they fall apart really easily, but other than that I had no problems with it. It actually felts so strongly that I didn't have to sew on arms and legs, I was able to felt them on.

Well Lubee introduced us to using the felting needle to stick pieces of wool felt together for post cards, that was cool. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84973.0

You have taken this concept  to another level - 3D.   Way to go.

And absolutely cute.

That is SO cute! I don't really know about what it's based on, but I think it looks like an anteater!

I love his coat - it's so detailed!

I love Gorey!  I'm sure he is smiling down on you from whatever cat-filled ballet heaven he inhabits.  The shoes are awesome!  Amazing project.
