Pretty and cute! I used to have an embroidered blanket when I was a baby.  Actually I still have it, but it is so faded, you can hardly see the details.

How long does it take to do the flower motif on a handtowel?  I used to do cross stitch and want to take up embroidery, and do a set of napkins or something.  I'm hoping to get a Sublime Stitching kit I ordered from Amazon any day now!  I can't believe I never noticed the Annies Attic packets at the craft store, some of those are really cute too.

The towels very much in between projects (I usually embroider in the evening) but I worked on them whenever I could pick up a needle for a few minutes (even so much so that I would work on them sitting in the living room while my girls strung stuff all over the house - which is definitely not my mo). I would say about three hours a piece.

Thanks!! It must have been my Mom - she taught me when I was twelve or something - I started embroidering again last summer (I'm something like 35 now) and it was just like riding a bike...
