Well, tonight I was bored. I thought: why not make use of those naked wooden clothespins lying on my desk begging to be clothed? So, as my first entry into this beloved site after many hours of lurking silently in the shadows... here she is. Not the best, I am damned tired right now, but hey! She's a giesha.

Now there... I hope that worked. The dress is made of fabric, the hair is an old earphone foamy-thing... the rest is painted. I got a little lazy and just used pins to put the arms on... forgive me!

Sorry about the poor picture quality. My webcam tries... but it can only go so far.

it takes a truly crafty person to think that an old ear phone foam thing would work as geisha hair  Grin that really kicks ass!

It's the old school 'peg' style of clothes pin (with no moving parts), not the newfangled springy kind

omg that is so cute, I have a whole pattern book for making different clothes pin dolls but no geisha. I'm going to make a bunch of these and some cute paper fans and make a mobile. I'm on a mobile kick lately.
