I was reading the threads from the other swaps, and it looks like there are 2 partners. Do we have two partners in this one? On the little questionnaire it says we do, but I don't really get how...

Possibly. I haven't decided yet exactly how I'm going to set up partners because it depends on the amount of people, but it can go one of these two ways:

Persons A and B send books to each other and also craft for each other.

OR

Person A sends book to Person B. Person B crafts for Person A.
Person B sends book to Person C. Person C crafts for Person B.
(and so on, the last person would send their book to Person A and Person A would craft for that person.)

Any comments? Thoughts? Preferences?

hmmm. It doesn't really matter to me...
I was just checking out the cost of books, and I found a website thriftbooks.com that sell used books for as low as $.01 with only 3.45 or something S&H! The books are in "good" to "acceptable" condition, you can pick.

I'm most likely going to sign up soon, but only if we will each be crafting for only one person. Two would be a lot I think, and more stress than I would like right now Smiley

Oh yes, no matter what, you will be crafting for one person. Depending on the number of people, however, it may not be the same person that is crafting for you. (:

Hm.. I'm thinking about this one.. since I saw the thread I've been compilinga list of possibilities... and the dates are good for me.. hm ....

Too bad my top choice is out of print and I haven't even seen MY copy in a couple years! (Apparently you can buy it for $70 off Amazon.. eesh!). But there's lots of ideas... mainly children's novels rather than picture books though.. hm...

I hear you. Mine have been out of print for 20 years and now that I've started looking for it, I want the whole set! (Puddle Lane, if anyone's interested)
