Hi everybody,  I'll start a new thread with this too, but I thought I post here to be sure it got out.....

I have an e-mail from a local girl named Katie who is wondering if there is any place in Phoenix (bar, cafe, whatever) where people get together to watch Project Runway.  The finale is Wednesday night.

It's embarrassing to admit, but I usually go to bed on Wednesday night and watch it in the morning.  Of course, I read the results from the east coast folks first - they're FINISHED by 9:00 our time and the show doesn't even start here until 11:00.  Grrrrr....

Anyway, does anyone know of a place to watch this?  Anyone want to host a PRFinale party?  Anyone interested?

Thanks ladies!

Sincerely,
Laura K

There is a little vegan restaurant on Scottsdale road in Tempe called "Green" that has really good food and could fit about 20 people. I just want to go again to get another tsoynami!

We're up for traveling so if it isn't near tempe/mesa, we don't mind. Every friday night we go to Tranzylvania on 700 N Central: crafty goths unite!  Smiley

I'd be down for a meetup at Green.  I'm always down for finding a new vegan restaurant.

Do you live in Utah or Arizona? I'm confused.

I just found another vegan cafe on Baseline in Tempe. It's between Mill and Rural. The menu isn't as adventurous as Green and I did find a small bug in my teriyaki tofu (which I jokingly said was not vegan) but I got two free chocolate chip cookies out of it.

Anyway, it's big enough to house however many crafters show up...if it ever happens.

Alright ladies, we have to get together it's getting desperate!!

If someone doesn't teach me to cast on soon I'm going to buy a knifty knitter!!!!

I have books I have videos I have the knitting supplies,....

what I can't figure out is how to simply cast on, am I hopeless???

at this point am tempted to pay for a knitting class, but am hoping for an alternative.  I remember someone saying that the local stitch n bitch meets and would show me. - I think?
