I get lazy sometimes...

For a few months, my embroidering was on hold. But then I picked it up again after being re-inspired here on Craftster! It was almost Valentine's Day when I drew the pattern (although I didn't stitch it up until about 2 weeks ago), but who cares that it's too late for Valentine's Day...my love of cupcakes in year round!

It took me a long time because of all the satin stitching, and some of the hearts are crooked, but what do you think?

About a week ago when I finished the cupcake, I needed something to do, so in one evening with a heck of a lot less work than the cupcake, I drew and stitched up a cute little ice cream cone!

Please excuse the not-so-great quality of pictures...it's my first time using the new scanner. Comments (on the embroidery, not the scanning job  Wink)?

Thanks! I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with them...probaly frame the cupcake, and just sew something fun with the ice cream cone.

They look great, your hearts don't look crooked at all!  Did you use satin stitch all the way across the hearts?  It looks so neat!  My satin stitch is sometimes kind of loose.
