Hey all!  This is my first recon project.  And here is the background on it...

I work at JCPenney.  I sell shoes.  I have two degrees in fashion design.  (not many design opps here in the midwest)  We are having a sale right now that happens twice a year.  It's called - tada! - our Super Shoe Sale.  For this sale, the corporate folks sent us T-shirts, and ended up sending us about five too many of them, so I asked my supervisor if I could take one home and make it more stylin'.  This particular shirt was a 2X and was about 50 inches in circumference.  I meant to take a before picture as well, but was so excited about getting started on it that I didn't.  Not sure if she'll let me wear it on the sales floor, but we'll see!  Let me know what y'all think!

Pleats along hem...a little spastic looking here, but they aren't, I swear!

From the book Godless:

Just Al: I know that God is real. I feel his presence in my heart
Me: What does it feel like?
Just Al: It's hard to describe Jason. It feels good.
Me: Oh. I thought maybe it was like heartburn or something.

That's awesome!  The shoes will sell themselves if they let you wear it to work.

Wow!  This is so cool.  Ask and let us know if they let you.  That would be so cool to see in the store.  You did a fantastic job!

That is VERY cute! I love the lacing in back and the "spastic" ruffle. Much more wearable than the normal t-shirts. Awesome Smiley

I actually just wore it to work on Tuesday, figuring they'd tell me to take it off if it was a problem.  My supervisor saw it and said it was cute, I got several compliments from coworkers, and even the assistant store manager liked it - so much that she wants to me wear it again so she can get a picture of it and send it to corporate headquarters!  Yeehaw!

And thanks for all of the compliments, everyone!  You're all so sweet!
