Hey Emm,

I got through the 5 1/2 inches, and 2 rows of the pattern. I love it. Only problem is that the mip have tiny little holes. I guess it's more noticable because the yarn is so dark. Did you have this problem? Tommorrow I start my 3 back to back 13 hour sifts at the hospital, so I wont be knitting as much. G'night.

Hi Steph;

Good luck with that long shift, you are so tuff Cheesy

If you "twist" the stitch that you make as you put it on the needle, you won't have such a big hole. Or knit into the back of the newly made stitch, check out knittinghelp.com for invisible increases.

I think I'm gonna try it...  just bought the pattern, I'll have to decide on a yarn...  All of the patterns in the book look great!

Yay!!! Welcome!

I have put this down for weeks now due to the rush of birthdays, preggers friends, and mother's day- I haven't had any time to knit for me! I will pick this up again soon.  Grin

Cuuuuute...If only finals weren't preventing me from starting that!
I'm thinking I'm going to start that as soon as the semester ends (aka Sunday). My summer plan is to make lots of sweaters for myself, and then work on holiday gifts in the fall. This is *so* on the summer project list!

That's a cool looking hoodie.  I'll probably be ready to knit heavy sweaters around August, maybe.  I'm on a summer knitting kick right now!

WOW.  I am a tad obsessed with this sweater.  I have a ton of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in a great color...I wonder if it would be too scratchy as a sweater...does anyone have any experience with it?
