Is anyone else currently knitting this? Want to knitalong with me?

Here is the link to the booklet and you can buy it online, and at most LYS's, and Lewiscraft I think...

Here are some places I found it online:

Knitting Warehouse
Herrschners
Yarn and Thread by Lisa
YarnFwd (scroll down a bit)

I am substituting Cascade 220 yarn for Classic Merino that the pattern suggests, and the color I am using is #9420 which is a dark teal color.

The booklet is quite reasonable (I spent $5 CDN) and there are so many great patterns in it, its a steal!

Hope to see someone else here soon  Cheesy

hi!

i'm knitting this right now! I love it!  I've got the back, fronts done and am currently working on the hood (i changed the pattern a bit so that the shoulders are joined with a 3 needle bind off and the hood is picked up, the cable continued up around the hood without a bindoff).  After the hood I've only got the arms left!  oh, plus all the finishing and zipper - yikes!

It's super cool and I really can't wait!

the most recent pic i've got is below --

insubordiknit, thanks for dropping in! Your cabely hoodie looks fantastic!!! I love the red!

I think I might steal your idea of the three needle bind off. Wink

Thanks for sharing, please come back soon!

Im in! HMM, what yarn? I have about 25 skeins of 220 and galway,  but no more than 3 of one color. I may mix 2 shades of the same color. Maybe stipes on the sleevs and the hood. Ideas? Tips?

Depending on what size you do, you may have enough that you could do the sleeves and hood in one color, lets say dk grey (for example) and the back in black... front in white?

I think that would work well...

Stripes with cables and bobbles might be overkill, but thats just my humble opinion...
