This is my second project post and my first stencil (on something permanent)...YEAH! Cheesy  I'm going on a trip in May and wanted to jazz up my wheelie...so I stenciled it! I did it the ghetto way, with card stock and a sharpie. Tongue

Here she is:

Obligatory close-up:

I got this stencil from stencilry. I did sorta test it on the back of a notebook, and that's why I left her other arm out of this stencil. I messed up on the cutting there, but I think it looks okay without it. I'm thinking of adding to it somehow. I'll post if I do. Any suggestions or comments are welcome!  Smiley

I'd totally leave the arm out. I think she still looks great as an amputee.

Stencilling your case is an awesome idea - it's so hard to find your suitcase on the carosuel when everyone else's looks the same...Yours will stand out!

thats very cute..i didn't even notice the arm missing until you said something.

its good that you used cardstock and a sharpie, because if you tried to do the freezer paper method it might melt some of the bag..I had a friend who I was helping add stencils to her wheelie (which is very similar to yours but hot pink) and we tried to iron on a couple stencils and it melted the fabric a little and it changed colors then turned really hard, so she ended up just doing them with sharpies, and the stencils we already cut out...which led to bleeding but it is still very cute.

That turned out so well! Sharpie + cardstock, you say. I'll keep that in mind. Good stuff! Wink

Cool suitcase! I've never tried stenciling with a Sharpie, but now I think I'll have to!
