Hi guys! I'm trying to get into this whole (gorgeous!) felting thing, so I ordered some wool to try it out.

However, I have an issue that maybe you can help me. I knitted and felted a bag and wanted to needle felt some design in it. But I'm in a hurry and can't wait for the woll to arrive.   I know I can use yarn to do that, specially "line" designs, but I'm wondering if I can unravel some yarn and actually make like a "full" felting design.

Sorry to  be so confusing.. What I want is to felt some flowers into the bag. The yarn I have is not braided and I noticed that if I unravel it looks like carded wool.

So...will this work at all?  Huh

Thank you so much in advance!  Smiley

It probably will work.  However, we give no guarantees here.  None of us are professional fiber artists (to the best of my knowledge anyway) - we mostly try stuff, read, research, try and experiment and share.  If you don't like what happens you can cover it over with the "true" roving when that arrives.
