It's pretty neat. It's more like a labyrinth then a library though.

And you should definitely join. I mean, your name is "librarylass." Cheesy lol.

I am thrilled to bits! I was a library teacher, now teach 1st grade but plan to get my degree for library teachers. I find it a very beautiful, noble, and above all, QUIET profession. I joined craftster just so I could do this. I can't wait!

4doxies, just a wee word about doing the library thing in schools, its not quiet, at least not in mine (and from colleagues, very rarely in their schools either). Universities and all places corporate I'm sure would by quiet, but schools? Not a chance.

That said, working in a school is MUCH more fun than working in a corporate situation, and you get to wear (most) of what you want. And being crafty/eccentric is practically a job requirement lol.

I have to weigh-in to say that public libraries are not always quiet either - mine actually sounds more like a daycare most days!

Mine was an innercity library, too. But the classes were small and we practiced. It wasn't silent, but it was quiet in a relaxing sort of way. Wink

We did beautiful things, though. However, we did have security down twice!
