My wonderful BF's birthday is coming up in a few weeks, so I thought I make him a fun little somethin'. I went to Joanne's and found this hollow brown paper book. I painted and glazed the outside and lined the inside with felt.

(secret undercover book)
I have no idea what he's going to keep in there but just the fact that he can, makes him giggle like a little girl.

hehehe awesome. Now I want one... I love boxes in general, and I have a TON of books, many of which look similar to that. I've got to get to Michaels.

Tre cool!  I have also seen someone use a real book and cut out the inside of it to make a sort of "Book safe" see if i can find that one too...

Very cool idea.  If your b/f giggled, then you connected with him.  Now that is cool!

I did that when I was a kid... and it was from a book called 'The hollow shrine' which is exactly what it was... except I hid cigarettes in it and that's not really shrine-like stuff...
