I just made this for my grandmum. It was fairly quick, so I think I'm going to make one for my soon to be MIL....

It is all cross stitch, with some backstitch outlines. I did it on 32 count Belfast Linen, and worked over 2 threads. You can usually find it at any of the craft stores, right next to the Aida. It was quite easy to stitch, worked it up over 2 evenings while watching the tele.
