I like that bracelet and earings, kind of cute.  What did you think about the saying on the back of the shirt?  She on purpose made the paint thick to look like candy.

Anyway, I will mail in one or two days.

she sent me a great decopauged box, I even carry it around sometimes to show it off

And a fabulous "Pirates" shirt with my favorite Johnny saying on the back

gotta love those pirates

And the font on this message is so cool.

I'm so glad you recieved and even happier you liked it! I was super paranoid about the painting 'cause I'm not a painter at all. I kept going around to everyone I could find and asking if they could tell what it was. Lol. And the Jack doll took me a month to do. Seriously. 'Cause A. I had no pattern, B. I sew everything by hand and C. It was the hardest thing I think I've ever done. Lol. I wish I could've done a swap journal for you but I haven't had a working printer in months. (Grrr to money.)

Everyone's stuff has been great. I can't wait to get my package. We've had several bank holidays over the last couple of weeks and that means no post so it's probably slowed it down a bunch.

ahh Wondra, I love the doll and I love the painting.  Everyone that I show the painting to knows exactly who it is.  It is ok about the journal, I am happy with what you sent.  I also got a journal in another swap and I have a notebook that I have been using that I bought at Walls.  Anyway, thank you so much.  You are brave because I have been wanting to make a doll but have not had the guts to do so yet.  Maybe soon.

Witchybelle, I am so sorry.  I yelled at the mail lady yesterday because she tried to tell me that there was nothing that she could do to try to track down the package.  Because I know that there are things that she can do but she is new and untrained and doesn't know what to do.  Well in that case you need to tell me that you will find out what can be done.  Don't throw up your hands and say "oh well, there is nothing that can be done".  I was pretty mad.  Anyway, I cannot file a search on it until it has been in the mail for 30 days.  That will be on the 17th.  In the meantime she could get in her little computer system and try to find out where it is.  I will talk to her again today.  This happened to me one other time.  I mailed to Canada and it took over a month.  And I always mail airmail.  Well she finally recieved and all was well but that was a big box.  I try not to mail in big boxes overseas anymore because it seems to make customs suspicious.

I hope that you will get it this week!!!!!

Thanks for sending the tracking number! The stupid Royal Mail says I can't track packages from abroad here. How annoying!

Well, I just think that Craftsters are going to have to unite, to redo the entire international mailing system.  Maybe I need to check into using a differnt service.  Like UPS or something.  But we are so in the boonies that I don't even know where the closest office is.

Today it has been 30 days since I mailed so I will go to the post office in the morning and fill out the paperwork to try to track it, if the postal lady can figure out which way is up.  This really stresses me out.

Omg. Bristol, I love you. Marry me. Wink

Wait...I'm getting ahold of myself.

Here in Wales, we've got two different postmen. One brings the normal mail and airmail packages and the other brings the freight mail packages. Right...?

Okay, so I was in bed yesterday morning and there was a knock on the door. The postman only ever knocks when he's got a package for me so I dragged my sorry butt out of bed and ran downstairs and ta da! There was a package waiting on the step. I was very excited because I thought it must be my Johnny package. Only when I brought it up to my nose so I could read the label (no glasses on), I realised it was from my parents. I was seriously bummed.

So I went back to bed and silently cursed the postman. I thought about making a little postman voodoo doll, but decided it was too much effort. I was just starting to fall asleep again when there was another knock on the door. Now I was really excited because a second knock means freight mail and freight mail means USA so I thought it HAD to be my Johnny package. But of course it wasn't I was seriously bummed and angry for about two minutes. Then I got into the package and saw what was inside:

It was only the coolest Easter/Ostara package ever from slygrimalkin! Everything is beyond cool. Smiley Thank you so much!! I had hot cocoa in my I*heart* Michigan mug and had to fight Jay for my Peeps! Flopsy (the cow who thinks he's a bunny) has joined the ranks of the Moos. Thank you a million times, slygrimalkin! Smiley

Don't  worry about the package, mommabear1963. I know you sent it and we all had fun so that's the important thing. The Royal Mail won't let me track it from this end so I guess it's just wait and see.

That was so sweet of slygrimalkin to send you a package!!!

I am getting really angry at my postal lady. I told her that I would be in to fill out the form to look for your package.  When I went in yesterday she handed me a slip of paper with a number on it and told me that "they" told her to give me this phone number and that would be the best way for me to find the package or report it missing.  So I call the number and all you can get is a recording and you can input the package number and then they tell you that infofor that package is not available.  you can never get a person, and of course they refer you back to your post office.  BAhhhhh
So I am on my way back to the post office.

Let their be much rejoicing! Johnny arrivith! Smiley I'm so pumped.

Turns out...The package was delivered to my neighbour's house and he's been away for a month. It's so wonderful!

I got two Sleepy Hollow pillow cases, a Corpse Bride jewellery set, an I *heart* Johnny tote bag and a Captain Jack Sparrow journal. Everything is so cool! Thank you!

I'm so happy it's not lost! Smiley Thank you, mommabear1963!

What a relief.  That is why the postal people kept telling me here to tell you to ask your postal person if they remembered seeing the package.  I am so glad that you got it and you like it.  Are you going to be able to post pics?  If not I might have them with me.  I am in Jacksonville now, on my way to Mexico.  But now one stressor is over!!!

I know this is way old but I recently returned from Mexico and found these pictures and decided to post.  I worked really hard on this and stressed over the missing package so much that I feel the need to post the pics.  Thanks.

First there is an I "heart" johnny bag
the front
then the back

some charm jewelry that I made from CORPSE Bride
the choker

the earings

and the charm bracelet

I sewed and painted two pillow cases with Sleepy Hollow theme

and I threw in a Jack Sparrow journal
