"Brainstorming" Thread

I was thinking it would be good to have a "brainstorming" thread for stitchalongs because I for one don't want to start a stitchalong, only to end up stitching by myself. So just post any ideas you have for stitchalongs that you would be interested in! And remember...even if right now you are completly loaded with projects, work, school, etc., you can always join later. Now let's put on our thinking caps, ladies and gentleman!

I have a good one...Comic/ cartoon/ coloring book stitchalongs!

These days i've been throwing around ideas for some new cool designs and i seem to have come up with a few nifty ones via cartoon network and, if you can belive it, Archie comics.

I'm just about done with a Jughead pillowcase and i'm thinking maybe something from Mucha Lucha as soon as i can.

I'd be up for that! I would do the coloring book one. I use to have a great site for free coloring book pages bookmarked, but I can't seem to find it. 

A few ideas of my own...
...libarian (a popular suggestion for Sublime Stitching patterns so we may be able to get more particpants, and I think this could be really fun)
...decades (there could be a few decade stitchalongs goings at once, one devoted to the classic looks of the 40s to the crazy patterns of the 70s)

Let's keep the ideas coming!

An ongoing "seasons" stitchalong might work. We can start with all spring related things, baby birds/animals, flower buds, anything green, etc. and post under one thread and start a new post for summer, fall and winter.
Has this already been done?

I started a library/librarian stitchalong. I know the point of this thread is so that we can see if other people are interested in it, but I got excited and already drew a pattern! *smiles guiltily*

I like the cartoon one.  I've been dying to do the Aqua Teen cross stitch patterns that someone posted recently for my husband.  My only problem is I have NO idea what to put them on.  I've thought about a towel, or just doing a small long pillow...but I don't know.  I just realized I don't even know how big the patterns are.

Oh, and I usually always end up doing the stitchalongs, it just tends to be months after they're originally posted    Then I'll forget to post for a couple more weeks, etc. 

My husband's been on a Robot Chicken kick recently too, I might have to embroider a shirt for him.

I really like the decades idea!  I'd be in for some crazy 60's and 70's psychadelic patterns!  I also like embroidery based on different cultures; I posted a japanese-inspired (kind of) pillow a while ago http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=69691.0
and I want to do something Indian looking (but I don't know what exactly just yet though) and I have a bunch of Honduran embroidery patterns my friend Reina drew for me...

How about a redwork-a-long?  i love doing redowork but rarely do.  i love the way it turns out...

by the way, i just recently stumbled upon this history of redwork:  http://www.womenfolk.com/quilting_history/redwork.htm .  and here i thought it was done just becasue it looks so cool!  interesting!
