tuesday was pi day, so what better way to celebrate than with a pi pie!  this is a pre-baking photo, after it was baked the pastry puffed up too much to really see the pi:

it was a steak & ale pie ... the first time i've attempted to make one, but it was as delicious as it was geeky  Grin

I hadn't even heard of pi days unti my friend's class did it on tuesday.  Why doesn't everyone have a pi day when you can make amazing pi pies like you did?

I didn't know anybody else in the world celebrated pi day! It's just the usual eat pie, watch the movie pi, but unfortunately my group was all busy including me. Yay for all!
