I finished two sweaters this month that had been in the works for a while.  First up is the Riviera pullover from the "Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk Two" book -

I used Knit Picks Merino Style in "hollyberry" (as a much cheaper substitute for the DB Alpaca Silk).  Then I just finished the Frilly jacket from the Rebecca Soft Kid issue -

I used the recommended yarn this time - GGH Soft Kid.  There are notes on both patterns on my blog (see the link below).

I'm happy with how both sweaters turned out - although both involved some arduous finishing - the collar on Riviera and the frills on the Frilly jacket involved large numbers of stitches.  But I'm also excited that the sweaters work well for Project Spectrum - March is for projects in red and pink.  (If you're not familiar with Project Spectrum, you might want to go here - http://www.lollygirl.com/blog/index.php?op=ViewArticle&articleId=414&blogId=1.)

Wow -- that red sweater is fantastic! Even my boyfriend, who hates my craftster addiction, had to admit that this post was totally worth looking at.  I really need to learn how to knit...
