I thought you all might need some super quick knits for those last minute gifts!  This one is really quick thanks to wool ease thick n quick.  I knit this white one first and then realized I've been meaning to do my version of a "raspberry beret."  I dont think it's "the kind you'd find in a second hand store" but I couldn't resist!

EDIT: i realized i shoudl've said this before.. most of the beret is just seed stitch so it'd be a really easy first project for those beginners.  You can also make it with or without the loops for the ribbon

pattern is here - would've just typed it out in craftster but i already had it all laid out so i had to post large images on my blog

if you prefer to download your patterns its on ravelry too

Please post here or on Ravelry if you end up knitting your own!

I love it! The color and texture (is that popcorn stitch?) make it look very raspberry-like. My DD is really into knit hats right now and she has been wearing the last beret I made constantly. She wants a few more and I bet she'd love yours. Thanks for sharing the pattern!

no problem! It's actually just seed stitch, I love the way it looks with bulky yarn
