I totally just had one of those moments where I'd completely forgotten those shows, even though I liked them so much, and then I saw your glasses and went, OMG!  You totally made my day.  Oh, and I love the glasses Cheesy

"Don't look at me with that tone of voice."

"Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. (pause) Shut up!"

Grin I used to watch Sesame Street in the hopes of a Teeny Little Super Guy segment. He was my favorite! When explaining this post to my boyfriend (he's not from America and was confused by my adoration) the song just came to me even though I haven't thought about it in about 20 years.
Thank you for bringing back the memories and GREAT JOB on the glasses!!!

Too wonderful for words! I loved SS too, and TLSG was my fave! If I saw those glasses in a store, I would've snapped them up! Your brother is so lucky to have someone to make them for him!

Looks like MY brother will also be getting a set of these for his birthday on August 26!

HEY!! August 26th is MY birthday!! (The day before my brother's, I know, but we're actually two years apart.)

In response to a few comments about using the glasses: Yes, they will be fully functional! The paint kit comes with primer and sealer so that the glass or ceramic is completely eat-off-able and, apparently, dishwasher safe. Pretty cool, eh?

Guys this has been so awesome, this was one of my first ever posts to Craftster and I already have 8 pages of comments. This is going to be a good summer - I can tell! Hahaha.

These are absolutely amazing, I'm definitely going to have to make a set for my sister, she'd just DIE!! Cheesy Thanx for putting these up, you should be very proud. Grin

Perfect! I remember TLSG. What a cool idea. You deserve your feature!

Up yours, young people. You and your rock and roll 8-track tapes!
