I received my fourth package today from my dearest FOCCER. Unfortunately, for me, she's decided to keep her identity a secret for a bit longer, bless her heart. She asked me to PM her if I figured out who she is. I believe I have, and I've PM'd her, but I don't want to know yet. I love the suspense.

She sent me two fantastic books. One is a Taschen edition about Las Vegas. FAB! I already own and love the Kitchen Kitsch edition. The other is for Young Stiffler entitled "Art". He loved it when I read it to him tonight so much that he fell asleep with it. Pictures will have to wait until I can wrestle it back from him for a pic, unless my dear foccer, you can send pics to hertrigger.

Thank you so very much for the perfectly selected books, and for keeping the secret going for just a bit longer. You are a sneaky devil, Miss Joann Michaels.  She even intentionally used sloppy typing and spelling errors in her previous notes just to throw me off the scent.

Nice! Books rule!  There are 2 awesome kids books about art called "Ish" and "The Dot" that I recommend to pretty much everyone (with or without kids!)

I love books, too! Especially the vintage Vegas images. I'm all a-shudder over here looking thru it.

Those are great books, batgirl!  I guess a librarian would have those all ready to recommend, wouldn't she? 

And I love vintage ads!  I bought a book of 1950s ads just because it had pictures of the annoying stove I had in a former apartment (since demolished--glamorous life, mine).  I want a Painted Desert Room in my house!

Young Stiffler's book is about a kid named Art who makes Art. It's so cute, and by the comic strip creater of "Mutts". Great illustrations!

I received two packages. Yay!!!

The first was for the BIG item. A cute painted shirt and a purse. I love the shape of it!!




And the second package was very sweet (literally and figuratively). Yummy canadian candy and beads (yay!!! I need those!!). I LOVE them. I have to wait until I'm not sick to eat the candy. I also got two postcards I forgot to take pics of.

i just wanted to say a quick hello! i miss my cracktster!  and all you loverly foccers! 
all the new packages are excellent and that bunny is sosoooooosososoooo cute!
lasandri, i hope you are feeling better...i was in your shoes last week and then when finals were actually over i only had three days before leaving for mexico....and this isnt exactly a vacation....but i will take what i can get right now....i hope that you give yourself a big hug tooooo....i will drink a cervesa for you! 
 
anyhow, i must go....i only get one hour to eat a nonexistent lunch(hardly any vegetarian food here!)
i am having fun so far!  and thinking of all of you!  i cant wait to find a fabric store or yarn store...i will load up! and not just for myself...i have swaps to do when i get back!  adios mi amigas!

I got the most wonderful package from my secret FOC today.  Two matted black and white horse prints.




My pictures don't do them justice of course, but they are truly wonderful.  I love the perspective, the subject, the medium.  They are just so lovely.  Thank you so much secret FOC!!!  I'm off to buy frames now
