good god why are we all having crappy days??? lets hope for a good june!!!

Oh god, at least it's not just me ...bleh.  I had the week from hell last week with huge grade altering projects due and papers...but they are turned in and I feel better....then I got volunteered for all sorts of thing for my Mom's retirement party in two weeks that I had no clue about gah!  *hugs FOCcers that are having school burn out* I know how that goes, last semester was crap for me and nearly failed all my classes (death in the family, serious surgury for my dad, major life alterating breakups, my older brother's wedding that he didn't invite us too, and a sudden out of the blue break up for me....dude, women are not any easier to be in relationships with than men)

Sorry to hear that everyone is in the dumps... I've got just the thing to cheer you up - PICTURES OF THE GREAT KNITTING BAG I GOT FROM MY SECRET FOC!!! (yaaay! wahoo! yippee!!)  Grin

You will understand my excitement when you see it...

My knitting BEFORE (very sad, being carried around in a tattered plastic grocery bag - shameful, I know):

My knitting AFTER (now very happy! Can hold head up high in public again!):

The gorgeous interior fabric:

Thank you SO much, secret FOC! You got it perfectly right again! The bag even coordinates with my purple needle roll (made by aschnebly in wish swap 6), although it looks much darker in the pictures than it actually is. LOOOOOOOOVE it!! Although I think my husband is getting tired of me prancing around the house, showing off my knitting bag. Gushy gushy tra-la-la!

Seriously though...very pleased with it. You've been wonderful & I can't wait to find out your REAL secret identity! Wink

edit: tried to fix picture of interior but photobucket or something is not cooperating - sorry that it shows up so tiny! You still get the idea, I guess.

I am sorry for all of you that are having a rough week.  The only stress I have right now is getting ready for my summer sabbatical and I cannot complain about that too much.

The only consolation that I can give those of you having a hard time in school is.... none.  By the time I got out of school I was sooo ready, it was stressful, it was hard and I was done, now that I have been working several years, some days I just want to go back to school.

Anyway, chins up girls, you will make it through the struggles and come out stronger and wiser on the other side.  But it is ok to get empathy and support along the way for sure.  So, I am offering that to you all.

Aw, Ladies! I hope you all feel better asap! A year ago this month I was finishing grad school with a bazillion in loans, no job, recently broken up with 2 1/2 year bf, fallen out with bff...I really wasn't sure I could take any more! And it was a rough summer...BUT by September I had found a great job, moved to a cool new city, dicovered Craftster, and had a brand new start. Now things aren't perfect, but they have worked out in ways I didn't expect. So...hang in there girls. It's SO VERY HARD sometimes, but you just have to get through it, there's always better days to come! Big craftster hugs to everyone having a rough time, you are a bunch of strong, beautiful, talented women, and that is all you need to be!

That bag is so bright, summery and cheerful! It's great!
I love the colors in that fabric! I just made myself, yes myself, a beaded necklace in those exact colors.
New jewelry cheers me up, not as much as a new package from a swap-mate, but it does the trick in a pinch. Cheesy
