Thanks for all the compliments. I have tons of the fabric left over so I think I may make a matching purse.

wow, that's a really awesome skirt!

did you use a pattern?

LOVING the print. I love bedsheets as fabric! Are you going to share which pattern you used? And if not a pattern, perhaps a quick tute? Would love to do something like this for myself this year. fantastic job.

I used this tutorial:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=12439.0but the waist came out huge so searching through the posts I found some help from Sexie_Leopard. Here's how to get the correct waist measurment:

"1. Take your measurement divide by pie (3.14....).

2. Take that number divide by 2. (you'll get a decimal number)

3. Take the numbers after the decimal point and multiply by 16. (round up this number)

4. Take your whole number from step 2 and write it down. then take your number from step 3 and put it over 16 in a fraction, so now you have a whole number with a fraction. ( this is your measurement for you quarter circle)

5. Decide how long your want your skirt. You could either cut it around the length you think or you could measure. If you want to measure, add that number to the number from step 4.

Here's an example...

Step 1: 42 divided by pie = 13.369

Step 2: 13.369 divided by 2= 6.685

Step 3: .685 x 16= 10.960 rounded up to 11

Step 4: 6 11/16

Step 5: 6 11/16 + 15 (length of skirt) = 21 11/16

So you'd mark your inner circle at 6 11/16" and then your bigger circle at 21 11/16". "

It totally worked out for me. The tutorial may be hard to read but i can draw something up if need be, let me know
